@GladysEasy @TheGriftReport You should really do some research on the effect policing can have on mental health. Many officers can deal with more traumatic incidents in a few months than most people see in a lifetime. It has an effect eventually.

Police dog handler banned for LIFE from the force after trying to import magic mushrooms PC Ryan Llewellyn, 41, a 17-year veteran police dog handler with South Wales Police, ordered 24.2g of psilocybin (Class A hallucinogenic mushrooms) in 18 capsules online from the Netherlands in early 2024. He claimed he believed the package contained legal mushroom truffles for microdosing to treat his severe mental health issues. Customs intercepted the shipment on 15 February 2024. His own colleagues then staged a controlled delivery to his home in Glynneath, South Wales, and arrested him after he accepted the parcel. Llewellyn was convicted at Newport Crown Court of being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on importing a Class A drug. He received a 12-month community order and 100 hours of unpaid work. A gross misconduct hearing has now imposed a lifetime ban from policing. He resigned shortly before the hearing; the Chief Constable said he would have been sacked. Thoughts on this?

@BMM1882 @altontowers 1. The address isn't accurate enough to narrow it down to knock on a door. HOWEVER, as a cop, I would likely be asking AT to check if any of the staff live on that road or the one on either side. 2. AT can't give you CCTV and will need to be requested by police due TO GDPR.

Hello @AltonTowers. I lost my AirPods at your resort on 5th May and filled out the lost property form (with full details). I was the very last guest out of the hotel before it closed after the May Day bank holiday weekend, on 5th May. Ergo, a customer couldn’t have picked them up. They’ve been pinging in Splash Landings Hotel (in the Flambo’s Jambo restaurant, which is where I know I accidentally left them on a table before leaving after taking a Teams call before my drive back to London) ever since, until yesterday… It looks like one of your staff members have taken them home as they’re now at a nearby address in Stoke-on-Trent - I’m going to guess that’s not your usual lost property procedure… Can you let me know who in Alton Towers or Merlin I should contact regarding CCTV requests as I’d like to report this as a theft offence to Staffordshire Police? Many thanks. P.S. I contacted you about this privately via Facebook Messenger on 6th May, but you never bothered replying. It’s now 11th May FYI. Really good to know you value customer service - particularly for Merlin Annual Passholders.

@fesshole He's going to find them eventually. All 23. Possibly 30 by then. In his pillow. The reveal is going to be so specific and so well documented that he cannot argue with a single element of it. She's not storing tubes. She's building a case.

I've been flattening all the empty toilet roll holders that my husband has left for me to change and putting them inside his pillow slip for about a month now. He hasn't noticed yet. 23 and counting.

I’m outraged by the excessive use of force used by police in London to detain the Muslim man who stabbed two Jews. This is the type of violence towards Muslims learned from the IDF and Israeli police.

@PropperCop @grahamwettone Not a flex but my take home was circa £1700, 20 years ago. In Oz, as top rate Sgt gross is just under $200k with minimal OT & you’re mostly supported, certainly in the press.

Want to license police officers to practice? Then pay us what its worth to do the job. The starting pay is lower now than it was in 2016. Almost 4 years in and I barely clear 2k net deductions. Tell me how the pay matches the risks? If something better crosses my path, I'm gone.

@PropperCop Wish you all the best for the future. Can I ask why you're leaving so early in your career? Retention rates in the Job now the lowest ever been in policing history. Cited are poor pay, lack of support from senior officers, mobile phones everywhere and an ungrateful public?

6 years in policing coming to an end and handing my warrant card back today. Not how I expected things to turn out, but I'm walking away with my head held high, having given it my best shot. Given the way things are going, I'm actually glad to be walking away. #TJF

@MarietteSohns Not 100% but got a couple of weeks to sort something. Interview next week. I won't say to much at this stage whilst I'm still technically employed but it's been a long and winding road to get where I am. Not the end I was hoping for & fully intended it to be a long term career.

A sinister Celtic fan revealed personal information about a police officer and his partner to the shocked constable at a supporters' march. Iain Clift made the "disgusting" comments during a walk to Hampden Stadium before the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen last May 24. The 27-year-old was part of the "unauthorised" 2,500-strong march from Glasgow Green amid a heavy police presence. It was during this that Clift then stated to the officer: "I know where you stay and you have a golden retriever. "Your missus is from East Kilbride as well." Clift - a chef of the city's Hogganfield - also knew the PC's first name. Fiscal Gail Campbell told Glasgow Sheriff Court: "Clift showed the officer images on his phone of his partner from social media accounts." Clift went on to make a vile sexual remark about the woman. He then called the officer a "horrible pig c***." Miss Campbell said: "This put the officer in fear of his and his partner's safety." Clift was arrested after the match when he was picked out near Cathcart police station. Miss Campbell told the court that the officer had been identified as "direct result of Pig Watch." Pig Watch is a derogatory name given to a collection of social media posts which include pictures of police officers working at Celtic matches. The account that tweets the photos - North Curve Celtic - has links to the club's currently banned ultra group The Green Brigade. Clift appeared in the dock to plead guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. Paul Kavanagh, defending, told the court: "It was clearly an unsavoury incident.” "I do not seek to minimise his actions but police officers are told not to put things on social media to prevent this type of incident.” "This was a disgusting threat. He was passed this information from someone at the march.” "The comment he made was disgusting, crass and he accepts that." Sheriff Shona Gilroy ordered Clift to do 200 hours of unpaid work and banned him from football for three years. She told him: "This was shameful -  you explained to the author of your background report that you got carried away with the ‘group dynamic’.” "This city is blighted with people who come to court and want to explain they got carried away with the ‘group dynamic’.” "What you did was disgusting." The rollout of body-worn video could allow police to leave mental health patients in hospital, potentially freeing up hours of their time, the Chief Constable has said. 1919magazine.co.uk/april2026/body…

@CPhilpOfficial Give it a rest. Your party completely decimated policing, its going to take at least a generation to recover from the savage cuts. Theresa May was the worst thing to happen to policing, ever! Do you think she was right with her "crying wolf" speech? Everything predicted happened!

While suing the #police can deliver justice and drive reform, the internal misconduct system remains biased and opaque, often protecting officers rather than holding them accountable. iaingould.co.uk/2026/04/13/pol…

@fesshole My mom can't stand anything above 20 and basically holds the whole house hostage. My dad and I like it warm, my brothers don't mind either as long as it's not extreme. Who the hell maintains body equilibrium at 20? If I sit still my hands and feet start freezing

The thermostat in my parents house is set to 25⁰C/77⁰F. When they were both ill in hospital I turned it down to 22⁰C/71⁰F. They are both now home and haven't noticed yet. The house is finally bearable to be in and one of the cats have stopped shedding fur.

@grahamwettone @TalkTV @iancollinsuk @PeterBleksley The man is a grifter. He spends a significant amount of time commentating on modern policing of which he seems to have very little knowledge considering how long he's been out of the job. It's time media outlets stopped using him and found someone with more recent experience.

@TalkTV @iancollinsuk @PeterBleksley Asking a former detective (who only served part of his career) about dealing with public order disorder is bizarre. He should also know why only a few arrests but uses that to criticise policing again. Lacks honesty, balance & insight. Just says what they want to hear. 🤷‍♂️
