Compare Matt Goodwin's introduction with Faiza Shaheen's introduction #BBCQT
MG: Academic, written about immigration, supports Reform UK and has a show GB News
FS: Author, economist, deselected as Labour candidate, campaigns for higher taxes for super rich
Chat GPT says: "The framing favors MG because it makes him sound more neutral or credible (academic + media presence) while making FS sound more partisan or controversial"

You have to read the article to appreciate how cruel this is. Not only will it force the closure of approx 200 PPs, many of which are in states where abortion is legal, it will deny Medicaid to ppl who are there for cancer screenings, sti diagnosis/treatment, pre-natal care-

Planned Parenthood provides cancer screenings, access to birth control, STI tests, and more.
Trump’s Supreme Court just put this in jeopardy for millions of low-income Americans.

First they came for abortion.
Now it’s birth control, cancer screenings, prenatal care.
The Supreme Court just ruled states can block Medicaid patients from getting care at Planned Parenthood.
Let’s be real: this ain’t about “protecting life.” It’s about weaponizing poverty and race to strip away care, choice, and dignity from communities that dare to seek basic care in a system already built to fail them.

Warning: this report contains distressing scenes.
They went to Rafah, desperate for aid to feed their starving families, directed there by Israel. And for a third day, they came under fire. 27 killed today, after three yesterday and as many as 31 on Sunday.
This, in addition to the dozens more people killed by air strikes across the Strip. The Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has opened four so-called 'Safe Distribution Sites' in Gaza.
The latest shooting happened near a roundabout. Israel's military said it opened fire on people who left a designated access route that leads to the only site giving out aid.
That site in southern Rafah distributed only 21 truckloads of food on Tuesday, despite widespread hunger and starvation.

#PMQs Almost 1 in 5 people claiming Universal Credit and disability payments have used a food bank in the last month.
Proposed cuts to disability support risk driving more people to food banks.
As my #Labour MP @annalouisedixon , will you ask the PM to rethink these cuts?

There are millions of us that feel this way, don’t forget that. We’re just not represented in our current electoral system

The UK needs to embrace new technologies, but we also need proper protections from AI’s pitfalls and workers must have a say in how that happens.
Our members are already reporting major changes to working conditions due to the introduction of AI, which creates new risks and all too often results in workers feeling alienated and demotivated. We also have serious concerns about matters such as AI-powered surveillance and discrimination by algorithm, particularly with ‘high-risk’ decisions like recruitment, performance assessments and discipline.
After years of fighting against discrimination, there is now the genuine threat of it being further embedded through AI, against women, Black and Asian ethnic minority, disabled and LGBTQ+ workers.
The introduction of AI in the workplace must be something that happens with workers and not to workers. @GOVUK, employers, and unions all need to be working together to avoid the potential dangers of workplace AI.
