🚨 Victor Davis Hanson: THE SIGNALS ARE ALL POINTING THE SAME DIRECTION No U.S. analyst knows better how to cut through the fog of war than Stanford University Prof. @VDHanson. In the clip below, Hanson, who’s studied how wars end for 50 years, says the tide has turned in America’s favor against Iran. Forget the rancid propaganda flowing from all quarters related to the Iran conflict and how it is going - Hanson says look at how everyone else is behaving. Hanson’s Key Points: • Europeans: They never touch a conflict until they smell victory. Early on? Crickets. Now they’re quietly moving assets and offering support. Pure calculation — they’ve read the battlefield and decided which side wins. • Gulf petro-states: Saudis, Emiratis, Qataris survive by reading the room perfectly. They’re expelling Iranian attachés, silently intercepting Iranian missiles over their capitals, and the UAE just reaffirmed its $1.4 trillion investment commitment to the U.S. mid-war. These are not gestures — they’re bets. And they’re all-in on America. • Al Jazeera: The Qatari state network that usually bashes U.S. actions (and hosts Hamas offices) is now calling America’s bombing campaign “brilliant” and “underestimated.” When the outlet that hosts both the biggest U.S. air base and Hamas praises U.S. effectiveness, the message is unmistakable: they think we’re winning. • Military reality: A-10 Warthogs and Apache gunships are now flying strike missions inside Iranian airspace at will. These slow, low-flying platforms only appear when enemy air defenses are effectively gone. Confirms what’s really happening on the ground. Iran’s only play left is rope-a-dope: drag it out, hope U.S. public opinion flips, pray midterms pressure Trump to quit. VDH’s verdict: If Trump sees it through — and he will — the regime falls. Not in years. Pretty soon. Bottom line: Watch what people do, not what they say. Every player with skin in the game is betting on America. The signals don’t lie. #Iran #Europe #Warthogs #Trump @AlJazeera

New condo building that sits empty went up in flames a few days ago. It’s close proximity to Sheridan College, which used to house thousands and thousands of international students. International student enrollment has fallen off a cliff. I wonder what happened here? 🤔

Weekends don’t exist once you’re in the burbs because kids dominate. It’s just time. Days don’t matter. However, 35 year olds who still live in the city, getting hammered at bars are just as confusing. Not that it doesn’t sound like fun, but your friends aren’t at the bar with you, they’re in the burbs at soccer practice, with me. So who are you getting hammered with?

How do people in the suburbs genuinely look forward to Friday night on the couch, Saturday morning at Costco, and call that a weekend? Like you really moved out of the city just to LARP as your parents at 34?

@Kadi_khichadi @bharathceegee Not easy. They open up reservations at 11am everyday for slots 3 weeks out. They are closed out in like 30 mins max. Its worth it but the hassle of reservations make it a one and done kind of experience.

@PuddingStreet1 There’s no “best city” Asuncion is great to lock in to work, meet likeminded people, save a lot of money, and be in a growing city Montevideo looks cool for families or those who want something more developed

Don’t listen to people online After 24 hours in Montevideo 🇺🇾 … It’s neither the WORST city in Latin America as some doomers say… Or the “Switzerland of LatAm” as they hype crowd wants to make you believe So far it’s a totally normal city, with good and bad things. I’d rate it pretty high in terms of places to live in the Southern Cone: ✅ Very European ✅ Safe and clean ✅ Not crazy expensive (similar to Southern Brazil) ✅ Really really nice people ✅ LOTS of families with kids Can’t wait to explore more

Yes, we need to step up on many fronts. But the passengers also need to step up on proper handling of the fittings and the washrooms. No excuse for not using the flush after use and soiling the toilet seats! They should make proper use of the snack trays and learn to dispose of the trash at the correct place. Seen a lot of that as well. I am sure something will be written on that as well. Thanks! #IndianRailways #civicsense

As someone who's travelled on the 20607/8 Vande Bharat almost every month since the day it was inaugurated, it pains me to make this thread. But long story short, it looks like the train recently went through a periodic overhaul "maintenance". Why the quotes? Let me show you
