I've been running the @airalabs_io x @peaq sensor for almost four weeks now. Interesting to see how quickly things are evolving behind the scenes. Some things currently on the roadmap: • pollution spike event tagging • high pollution push alerts • personal exposure visualisations • a points system for contributing data • launching the map function on Android ... and a lot more Meanwhile the network already passed 100,000 air pollution datapoints collected. What I find interesting about projects like this: Air pollution is mostly invisible. You rarely notice it until it becomes a problem. Sensors like this make personal exposure measurable for the first time. And the science around this is evolving quickly. A recent study analysing 28 million people in the US found strong links between long-term PM2.5 exposure and increased Alzheimer’s risk. Air pollution might not just affect lungs and heart — but potentially the brain as well. Which makes personal exposure data much more interesting. Still early, but I’m curious to see how large these sensor networks can become over time.

Maybe it's the low token prices or simply my critical nature – but I have to get something off my chest. Things have become very quiet around @peaq on X. In my opinion, ending the Get Real and @KaitoAI campaigns was the right thing to do. Ending the Ambassador programm is another story. But it has also left its mark. Many daily voices have disappeared. The community seems quieter. I don't believe that nothing is happening in the background. But communication is very restrained. And that's exactly what creates uncertainty – especially in a weak market. @dorloechter @MaxThake @WendlerTill It's not about responding to every rage post. It's about taking the community with you: – Will there be another campaign to reward power users? – What's happening in Dubai with the Machine Economy Free Zone? – Which machines will be tokenized next? – How are user numbers developing? – How should activity on @machinedex grow? I would also like to see more transparency from partners. If an update causes bugs – say so clearly. If there are challenges, talk about them. Honesty builds trust. Especially when it's uncomfortable. I'm not writing this out of frustration. I remain convinced of the potential of Peaq and the Machine Economy. But conviction needs communication. We need more insight, not more hype.
