@BrianHa24140826 @Mark4XX How? China has issued directive to export rare metals for civil purposes only. Our armory is dangerously depleted and in case of ground invasion, we can’t support ground troops for long. Then we won’t even have face saving. It’s time to pack up and leave Middle East for good.

The Iran conflict is brutally simple: IRAN: “We’ve won the war, we dictate escalation, time favors us — so we get what we want.” If the U.S. rejects this view, it must prove Iran wrong with decisive military force. Everything else — sanctions, warnings, posturing — is now pointless theater.

Trump brags of absolute mastery over the Strait of Hormuz while desperately demanding that Iran do what Washington itself cannot force. This is imperial bluster meeting the limits of actual power in the most humiliating way possible.

@Mark4XX This is the most simplest way to see it. US tried to put boots on ground to raid nuclear facility under the pretense of rescuing downed aircrew member. And then tried to open the strait through deploying 3 destroyers. Both attempts failed. Aerial bombings are rendered useless.

@MenchOsint Raytheon relies on China for the rare metals that are used to produced hi-tech weapons and defense systems. China has issued a directive post Xi-Trump summit that going forwards rare metals will be exported only for civil purposes. Future is bleak for Israel.

Hezbollah FPV Drone operators hit 4 out of 40 of Israel's Iron Dome launchers in just one hour this morning. In total, since the introduction of "Ababil" FPV Drone attacks, they struck approximately 10-12 launchers out the 40 deployed.

@SenatorWicker What was achieved by the Operation Epic Fury? Please do tell us. We depleted the precious hi-tech weapons, couldn’t destroy Iran’s military infrastructure, and POTUS got dog walked by China. China now controls the rare metals exclusively and we have no leverage to get them.

@BrettErickson28 Not saying we lack brave people. We cannot claim complete strategic supremacy while remaining dependent on China for the raw materials required to sustain the military machine. China made sure their rare metals go only into civil use for rest of the world.

Moments ago, Donald Trump posted this image to his Truth Social, and it underscores perhaps the greatest failure of the Iran War: The loss of Iranian support. Entering into this conflict, there were high hopes for potential mass uprising against the regime. Just earlier this year, we saw hundreds of thousands take to the streets to protest the abhorrent Iranian regime. The economy was in shambles. The people were angry. And the opportunity for the United States and the West to topple the regime was at an all time high. And then we bombed the school in Minab, killing hundreds of helpless, innocent children. And we triple-tapped it. No meaningful investigation. No notable public apology. No accountability. Just a monstrous slaughter of innocent children. The people in Iran turned against the United States… fast. And if that didn’t do the trick? President Trump then threatened to “wipe out their entire civilization”. Many Iranian’s went to sleep that night wondering whether or not they would ever wake up. Now, once again, the United States is showing their true colors. This was never about Donald Trump “caring about the Iranian citizens”. He doesn’t. This is about installing a puppet regime in Tehran beholden to the West. That’s all it has ever been about. Continued imagery such as this continues to hand easy PR victories to the regime. It’s easy to sell the United States as “The Great Satan” when you bomb schools. When you threaten an entire civilization. When you post images that insinuate the removal of Iran as an independent nation. The Persian people are a PROUD people. Their patriotism rivals that of even us here in America. Posting imagery such as this would go about as well as Canada threatening the United States with becoming part of their country. Not in a million years. While this War has been RIFE with failures, perhaps the failure that is most devastating is the one that has seen many Iranian’s become disillusioned with the United States. Our opportunity to topple the regime hinged on the support of the Iranian people. Now that is gone. The regime in cemented in their power. And Iran has a common enemy once again in the United States. And rightfully so.

@Aviation_Intel Yeah, deplete the already dangerously low weapons and open ourselves & allies to threat. China has blocked sale of rare metals for anything but civil purposes, which means manufacturing of advanced weapons is even more constrained. What a dumb take!🤦‍♂️

Likely to resume major air strikes. Likely more shock and awe kind of deal this time I would imagine. Power and oil production targets would be my guess. Moving on the Strait and going for islands is possible, but very risky. But lots to maintenance will be required since the ceasefire, as well. Gulf states will have to suck up another round. Diplomatically it will be tougher than the first go. Interceptor stockpiles a major concern, especially mid course and THAAD. This affects Israel most. What do you think the target sets will be?

Everyone can now see the writing on the wall: Iran has won this conflict, and is now set to receive massive economic benefit as a result. The Iran Hawks are FUMING and calling for renewed strikes. But any strikes that may take place won’t make any difference. The United States has been woefully outplayed in this conflict. From start to finish, we have failed. We let Iran take the Strait of Hormuz, we committed atrocities in the bombing of the school in Minab, we expedited the rally around the flag effect by threatening to wipe out their entire civilization. And Iran? They didn’t have to do a single thing except exactly what every person would expect them to do. Rational, levelheaded, and methodical strategy. The foolish blockade strategy taken by the United States has accomplished nothing besides allowing Iran to resupply and reposition. We wasted 39 days and counting on this pipe dream strategy, and now the Trump Administration has boxed themselves in. The Iranian people no longer want to revolt after we attacked them, their children, and their economy. We have no ability to overcome the asymmetric warfare threats keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed. And the global economy is rapidly tanking. There are no solutions left, and Iran sees the pot of gold right around the corner: Tolls on the Strait or massive sanctions relief. Either way, Iran is about to get PAID. Economic strangulation does not work when the country being strangled knows they have an unlimited supply of oxygen on the horizon. Continued military strikes do not work when your adversary knows they hold once in a lifetime leverage with their control over the Strait of Hormuz. It is time for the Trump Administration, and all of their foolish Iran Hawk advisors, to accept reality. You fumbled this to a historic degree, you desecrated the American name, and now you need to come to terms with your disintegrating legacy for the betterment of the world. Enough is enough. It’s time to clean up this mess you made.

@BrettErickson28 If there are symbolic strikes, then it will be seen as we acted emotionally & can never recover from it because we have been painting Muslims to be hyper emotional & violent. Besides, this will put dent in already depleted armory while China blocked sale of rare metals. Quagmire!

I think most everyone has now come to terms with the reality that the United States has, quite disastrously, lost the War against Iran. Trump clearly has no credible victories to claim, unless you count destroying the Iranian Air Force, which I do not. The highly enriched Uranium will likely stay in Iran. The regime will stay in power, and actually be more cemented in their position. The regime will see either compensation via tolling of the Strait or large-scale sanctions relief. There is no remaining pathway to securing anything resembling a victory of any kind, and it slowly seems as though the Trump administration and their most fervent supporters are coming to terms with this inevitability. It is possible that we see mostly symbolic strikes this weekend, but one thing has become inevitable: The United States lost about as badly as one can lose.

It’s a waste of oxygen to negotiate with the Iranian regime. They are never going to come up with a satisfactory plan for peace that we can trust. Trump should end the ceasefire and open the Strait of Hormuz and allow oil from the Gulf Arab states to be transported. youtu.be/o2uBnAidh-s?si…

@BrettErickson28 I think the old geezers in Washington aren’t able to come to senses that US has lost all the leverage and the final push came from China about blocking the rare minerals. They are scrambling on how to make the instrument of surrender not sound like an instrument of surrender.

Breaking: Trump to skip wedding of Don Jr. Spare me the Trump-bashing for a moment, and let’s examine this a bit more rationally… There is no reason Trump could not engage in negotiations while attending a wedding or being away from DC. I see only one reason that would be critical enough for a father to miss his son’s wedding… This reads to me as an ominous sign of things to come before a three day weekend…
