@RiseNDraft @AttackSheet He may or may not have received the first round feedback, but his stock was going to drop regardless due to shoulder surgery that would have prevented him from participating in the pre draft process. That probably played into a decision to return to school.

@AttackSheet What’s wrong, that he didn’t receive first round feedback from the committee?

@joeypetersen8 @jdpickell Nope, it's row 7 on a Southwest flight. It's not even one of the extra leg room seats. Impressive that he fit in there at 6'4.

Tremendous new episode of Football 301 is out now! @fakecorykinnan joins me for a thorough initial breakdown of the QB prospects for the 2027 draft class. From top names like Arch Manning and Dante Moore to potential risers like Drake Lindsey, Drew Mestemaker and LaNorris Sellers. Plus plenty more! Cory and I hit over a dozen QBs on this show. We're not sickos, you're the sicko.

@maxtoscano1 I'm just a Texas fan looking for some hopium, who's hoping the new Texas TE Michael Masunas can be that underrated dirty work guy. Sark loves his 12p and I think this guy could be the key to really making it work.

@benjaminwhodge His wingspan is ~80inches and maybe you can decipher the arm length off this as well.

@StevePalazzolo_ Extremely underrated game from him. 10/11 throwing on 3rd down with 6 conversions through the air and 2 more on the ground.

@AriWasserman Sugar free doesn't mean sweetener free. The sweeteners in Coke Zero, Aspartame and Ace-K, are 200x sweeter than sugar. To me Coke Zero tastes quite a bit sweeter than regular coke.

Coke Zero is a fine replacement. I drink it regularly. But saying any sugar-free drink tastes better than the full sugar ones is insane. Why? Because the thing that makes everything taste better — sugar — is in one of the drinks and not the other. I think people are lying to themselves when they say diet drinks TASTE better. They don't. It's science.
Josh Mustacchio@JoshMustacchio

@joshk70 @AriWasserman I will say not a Diet pop but Coke Zero is better than Coke to me . Don't know if you count Zero sugar as a diet or not.

@fakecorykinnan On the last play you reviewed, here's the concept from Sark's 2023 playbook. Mosely was supposed to run the corner.

🚨FIRST FILM ROOM OF THE 2027 CYCLE🚨 Took a week off after the draft to recharge a bit, but we are BACK. And what better way to kick off the cycle than by diving headfirst into the Arch Manning discourse? So, I turned on the tape. Does he live up to the hype? Link 👇👇

@Longerhorn_ I agree with Cory here. What people say about the Georgia game is a good litmus test that tells you if they watched the game or if they only watched the box score.

If you replaced "Manning" with "Smith" you would still have a 6'4, 220lb QB with elite mobility/tools and showed a ton of flashes in the 2nd half of his penultimate season

@DSP4150 @kyronsamuels He had post-season shoulder surgery that would have prevented him from participating in the pre-draft process. That's my theory.

@kyronsamuels Is there a specific reason he stayed for another year in school? Know he was drafted eligible and many had high r1 grades for ‘26 + projected r1 in ‘27 by many

#Texas OT Trevor Goosby. 6’7, 325. Massive frame. Lengthy arms. Powerful striker w/ great hand placement. Plus movement skills. Damn good solo run blocker. Day 1 player.

There are a ton of throws on Arch's tape where I come away wondering how he didn't kill his receivers for the mental mistakes.

@fakecorykinnan Is this about the deep ball attempts in the A&M game? To me it felt like the WRs didn't fight for the ball at all, but also Arch could have placed them a bit better.

@Lilhaygood33Rod Yeah that's the point. Like I said, Simmons was lined up over the RT most of the game and the offensive game plan was to run the ball to the opposite side. And it worked because the rest of the DL had a bad game.

@Lilhaygood33Rod Just for you I went back to watch it. For the most part Simmons lined up over your RT and beat him like a drum. Even when lined up over Barber, you guys typically ran the ball away from him or threw a quick pass. Barber had some wins in there, but he didn't have him in hell lol
