Inclusion at work places can only happen when barriers are eliminated. And this can be done through ensuring reasonable accommodation, access and #promoting favorable #legalframeworks that support every person regardless of ability

#Resilientvoices, women living with disabilities can also shape and influence policy frameworks in the climate change agenda. Let’s grant them a chance, rise up for them. The goal is #leavingnoonebehind in all development spheres

Today while at home, This boy came along selling liquid soap and I bought from him being a child. After, he requested if I could help him with a pen to use at school tomorrow, I gathered pens in my bags and gave him. This is not just a pen but the impact that the pen will bring

Today, I don’t just celebrate women who have made it in life, but I celebrate those that have turned away from harmful circumstances that puts the pride of women a side and affects their health. This lady was testified cutting women (FMG) but turned away from it.

Access to justice is a fundamental right — yet many women and girls with disabilities in Uganda continue to face barriers when seeking safety, accountability, and legal remedies. This #IWD2026, InclusiTalk will host a critical conversation on scaling up investments to accelerate access to justice for all women and girls, with a focus on disability inclusion. Join advocates, legal experts (@dhatty1), and media voices (@NdagireLaila) on 07/03/2026, 8 PM, as we explore how justice systems can become more responsive and survivor-centered for women and girls with disabilities. #CRPDForAll #DisabilityJustice

Participation of young people in community programs is a right not a privilege, I am always positive to youth engagement especially if they involves #marginalizedgroups . Let’s use today to mentor and guide young people to realize their potentials and rights.

From the boda-boda stage to the classroom, from the market to the hospital; dignity, accessibility, and equality are not luxuries. They are everyday essentials! No Ugandan with dwarfism will be denied what every citizen deserves. #HumanRightsDay

Ahead of the #16DaysofActivism, CEHURD, with support from Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA), successfully implemented a two-day Tripartite Intervention bringing together Police, district officials, and Health workers to address the growing need for trauma-sensitive responses in cases of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (#SGBV). The intervention focused on stress, trauma, and depression, equipping frontline actors with practical skills to identify early signs, manage emotional fatigue, and respond to survivors in a professional and empathetic manner. Participants also explored how these challenges affect not only survivors but also the very actors who support them, highlighting the importance of self-care, professional conduct, and coordinated action. The intervention also provided critical clarification on Police Form 3, ensuring proper use for medical-legal documentation, and disseminated the Ministry of Health directive prohibiting the charging of survivors for medical-legal examinations. CEHURD will continue to reinforce this directive in #LegalAidClinics, community dialogues, and champion-led activities, ensuring survivors receive timely, free, and respectful services.

Imagine a society where girls are defiled and murdered. I and my colleagues took time and visited the grave of a 12 year old girl who was defiled and murder. Let’s promote a society that respects the rights of children #justiceforthe12yearoldgirl

Big question! Who should be the next @_africanunion Envoy? Tag your pick and let’s get talking ⬇️ #DGTrends #APRMyouth @YouthEnvoyAU
African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM)@APRMorg

The @_AfricanUnion Commission (AUC) has had two Youth Envoys so far: Ms. Aya Chebbi from Tunisia and Ms. @ChidoMpemba from Zimbabwe. The Office of the @YouthEnvoyAU has done remarkable work in highlighting youth priorities within the AU ecosystem. Have you had a chance to engage with the Youth Envoy before? Who would you like to be the next @YouthEnvoyAU? #APRMyouth
