Want to get #ShakeAlert-powered alerts on your phone in California? You have several choices: @QuakeAlertUSA, @MyShakeApp, and even #ShakeReadySD which is part of SD Emergency App from @SanDiegoCounty. You can also get alerts on @Android-based phones.

@EarlyWarningLab Most of LA was ~MMI 3 or less which is the threshold allowed by @USGS_ShakeAlert so many users would have felt shaking but no alert would be allowed to be sent

Who felt the #laquake? Let us know if you got an alert from @QuakeAlertUSA If you didn’t and you had your threshold set at MMI 3 it’s because your forecasted shaking was less than 3!
