With traditional aid frameworks facing mounting pressure from both donor societies and partner countries, the conference opened with a powerful call to move beyond old routines and build a smarter, geopolitically literate, and impact-driven model grounded in mutual respect. Day 1 featured engaging panel discussions focusing on promoting German-African business relations, exploring Diaspora Bonds as an innovative instrument for financing African economies internally, and using football as a cultural bridge for development between #Germany and #Africa.

Speaking on a panel, @AMWIK Executive Director, @QueenterMbori, championed the emerging opportunities within new media, emphasizing the crucial role women play in steering these spaces to amplify diverse voices.

Tackling Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) demands deliberate, proactive partnership. AMWIK Chairperson,@RobiKOchieng spoke passionately about the media industry's evolving nature while Elizabeth Limagur (Vice Chairperson), inspired attendees to view leadership from a broader perspective. Treasurer, @NyaruaiMbataru broke down the technical and strategic demands of modern media careers.
