@roddreher If it was Christians praying outside of a mosque (or prolife center) they would be arrested.

Secretary Marco Rubio
From our country’s beginning, for as long as America has embodied freedom and exceptionalism, the soul of our nation has been rooted in the Christian faith. Today we gather, as our forefathers did on this day centuries ago, to rededicate our nation to God.

@draloneboy The Pope literally said America shouldn’t have open borders. What the hell are you talking about?

WOW. Border Czar Tom Homan just gave the PERFECT response to Pope Leo "I'm a lifelong Catholic. I wish they'd STAY OUT of immigration, they don't know what they're talking about." "Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a 9-year-old girl that got r*ped multiple times, or stood in the back of a tractor trailer with 19 dead aliens at my feet, including a 5-year-old boy that baked to death, if they understood the atrocities that happened on the open border, I think their opinion would change!" "And I welcome discussion with any of them, because they don't understand illegal immigration is not a victimless crime." "Where President Trump had the most secure border in the lifetime of this nation, right now, lives are being saved. He's saving thousands of lives a year because he has a secure border!" "Human traffickers are out of business, right? The cartels are going bankrupt because of that secure border. I wish they'd understand that." "Because if they did, I think they'd have a different opinion." Mic drop.

Breaking: Muslim terrorists just stormed a Christian village in Nigeria and unleashed pure demonic savagery on innocent families who couldn’t run fast enough to escape. They captured pregnant women and hacked their bellies open with machetes — forcing the young women to witness their own unborn babies die right in front of them as they succumbed to fatal stab wounds. All because they were Christians who refused to convert to Islam. No one in the international community, UN, EU, ICC, or ICJ seems to care. Not even Christian leaders in the West. Please pray for the persecuted Christians in Nigeria. 💔💔💔💔

U.S. in Holy See
U.S. in Holy See@USinHolySee·
Contrary to news reports, Pope Leo has not bestowed an exclusive special honor on the Iranian Ambassador to the Holy See. This decoration is given to all accredited ambassadors to the Holy See after 2+ years of service and has been standard practice for many years. It is a personal recognition and does not imply support or opposition to any policy or country. Thirteen ambassadors were recently given this recognition. Previous U.S. ambassadors have all received the same. Finally, the decoration was not given in person by the pope.

Israel doesn't train dogs to rape Palestinian inmates. That's a vicious, stupid lie pushed by a slimy little propagandist. But this newest blood libel is meant to distract you from the latest released evidence- including video recordings that *no credible person says are fake* of Palestinians doing the most sadistic, grotesque things imaginable on Oct 7- raping corpses while they are mutilating and murdering them, lighting genitals on fire, shooting out the eyes and genitals of helpless victims, forcing husbands to watch as their wives and children are raped and murdered- And Palestinians did this on the *orders of their elected government* with months of planning to do exactly what they did. It wasn't spontaneous. The monstrous cruelty, the sexual degradation was the point. They knew Oct 7 wasn't going to win a war, or gain any territory. It was just an orgy of Jew hate and violence. The Palestinians were mass murdering, child rapist terrorists who did all this and were gleeful about it. They made phone calls boasting to their family members. Did anyone in the Hamas government express remorse or regret about any of this? Or anywhere in Gaza? Of course not. They ordered it. They delighted in the extreme pain and cruelty of the Oct 7 operation against Jews. So now some Americans, including ones who claim to be conservative, are taking the side of Hamas and claiming this was a genocide? What do these people really think Israel was supposed to do in response to Oct 7? Fight an imaginary "gentle" war? No response at all? Give up? Childish thinking. Absurd moral preening. War is hell, but Hamas brought that hell upon Gaza.

Where to begin? I could only imagine the 🇻🇦 Holy See might have given the Ambassador the Ordine Piano, something ALL ambassadors get after a certain time (me too when I was Ambassador to the Holy See). You just get it for your daily faithful work... But I haven't checked

@Methodist_Prime To be fair, nailing down what exactly Protestant believe has been a historical problem for Protestants themselves.

If a Roman Catholic can’t distinguish Protestant from Evangelical, can’t name what either actually believes, can’t map the theological differences, and just defaults to internet stereotypes, then the issue probably isn’t Protestant theology. It’s your theological illiteracy.

Ban on Sharia law in Florida sparked Muslim outrage. According to an NBC Miami report: “DeSantis signs ‘domestic terrorist’ naming law… The law, effective July 1, bars a court or other adjudicatory body from enforcing any provision of a religious or foreign law, with an emphasis against the Islamic code known as Sharia law.” Do you support a formal ban on Sharia law from being used in state courts all over the West? Yes or no?

@DanBurmawy I work with a Muslim chaplain who is an interfaith chaplain. Very serious about his faith. Used to be an imam. I’ve wondered how he works this out within himself. He’s moving and I’m taking him to lunch beforehand. If I get the chance what’s something I might say to invite him…

When I was about five or six years old, my uncle, who had never been religious and had lost all his wealth in a bad business deal in Kuwait after the Gulf War, decided to return to Allah and become a devout Muslim. I remember he went to Pakistan or Afghanistan for six months on a mission trip. When he came back, the first thing he did was drag our huge TV outside and throw it in the garbage and started taking me with him to the mosque five times a day. I grew up exposed to what was said inside the da’wah groups. My uncle was not a jihadi, but he was deeply involved in da’wah, Islamic evangelism. For years, I accompanied him during summers and weekends on mission trips across Jordan, visiting mosques around the country with other members of the da’wah movement. I still remember visiting Al-Hajar Mosque in the city of Zarqa, the same mosque of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, years before he became known. When I was eleven, my parents moved to another city, and I stopped going with my uncle. But when I was seventeen, the protests that erupted across the Islamic world after the Danish cartoons of Muhammad pulled me back to the mosque, and I spent another year with da’wah groups, until God miraculously changed my life and I converted to Christianity. Those years in the da’wah movement as a young kid gave me an exceptional ability to see through these people. The moment someone speaks, I can diagnose how infected he is with the spirit of jihad. I wish I could lend my eyes to Western governments so they could see how deeply their institutions have been infiltrated. The majority of those who present themselves as “moderate” or “normal” Muslims in Islamic organisations or Media, are on a mission. Once naturalized, they know exactly how to exploit the system to advance the goals of da'wah.

Today, 41 Texas Legislators sent a formal letter to @GregAbbott_TX demanding he withdraw his threat against the City of Grand Prairie over the DFW Epic Eid celebration. Abbott threatened to pull $530,000 in state funding unless the city canceled a private Muslim community event. The city had no choice. A joyful Eid celebration, now in its third year, was canceled because of government coercion. Faith communities rent city-owned facilities for private events across Texas every day. No governor has threatened funding over any of them. The difference here is not the structure of the event. It is who is gathering. The harm is done, but it can be undone. We call on Governor Abbott to withdraw this threat immediately and make Grand Prairie whole. Contact Governor Abbott and let him know: greg.abbott@gov.texas.gov Full letter attached

JUST IN: President Trump sends a "simple" message to Pope Leo ahead of Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s high-stakes meeting: "It's very simple. Whether I make him happy or I don't make him happy: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon." "He seemed to be saying that they can. And I say they cannot, because if that happened, the entire world would be hostage. And we're not going to let that happen. That's my only message."
