Toast to Love's expenses are covered by her breeder but there is no funds for French Vanilla and we cannot separate them and leave her behind. Whoever damn near starved him ought to endure hunger in our opinion but unfortunately the abusers and people that neglect a horse's basic care always seem to get off the hook. Thank goodness Brandon B is in good hands now. One day at a time. 🙏❤️‍🩹

☺️🙏❤️‍🩹👉Update! Run dWild Cat has been picked up from the lot and is enroute to quarantine & her forever home at STES. She is extremely thin. Twice at a feedlot and who knows how many lower end auctions in between. Her life matters and her welfare matters whether some people may think so or not. This mare has known fear, hunger, passed around like a basketball and she should not have had to endure that. Thank you to everyone that helped get her safe and a big thank you to Jen & STES for giving her a forever home. Prayers Run dWild Cat's will rebound and be back to the beautiful girl she once was. 🙏👉 Update! We have used the rest of our proceeds from our annual online auction fundraiser to bail Run dWild Cat & her remaining transport costs. Thank you to the group that fundraised a third of her bail costs and to S Mueller who is helping with some of her transport costs. This poor mare has ended up at a feedlot twice. She is thin and wore out. She will be going to South Texas Equine Sanctuary so thank you to Jen & STES as well. We are working on transport and planning on picking her up tomorrow Thursday. Update to follow when available. Sometimes creating these posters and seeing the multitude of thoroughbreds at lots that just keep coming in week after week with no industry concern or support is just too much at times. It is not the industry saving these horses but organizations like ours and others plus volunteers and good hearted people that love horses. It is a disgrace that there still is no Emergency Fund, no programs. The industry displays no sense of urgency for these horses. Look at the majority of thoroughbreds on here, mares. And these are only the ones we are aware of. There are many more thoroughbreds run through cheap auctions across the country or horses that go underground. These horses deserve so much better than this. Who is going to help these horses? He is much thinner than thought and has some cuts on his left hind hock and leg so glad he is on his way to get proper care. He will be well taken care of at STES and hopefully will rebound. 😊❤👉 Update! We have bailed senior TB gelding Brandon B from the OK lot with funds from our annual online auction fundraiser. His deadline is Monday and with him being 24 yrs old his likelihood of getting out was slim. He will be going to South Texas Equine Sanctuary to live out the rest of his days. So a big thank you to STES. We are working on transport and hope to get him picked up within a few days. You are safe ole fella. Updates to follow when available.😊❤

This is good news that the State of MD passed legislation to protect MD bred racehorses regarding slaughter. However, right now there is a MD bred thoroughbred mare named Crookit (Tattoo Q19207) at a TX lot that needs help ASAP. Who is going to step up for her?
