@RSharm19 @TheWARmonger_ @BoiRunch Also if there was no one on, no one would’ve scored, if bases loaded it would’ve scored 4 or 3 w a slower batter, overall I just wanna know what creates a run saved, is it 4 bases saved? Just hard to fully gage a stat w no info.

I think he has tremendous impact, but yes, this year him being on pace for 6 WAR just makes me roll my eyes a bit is all. I think he was like 5.5 last year. So he's on pace for more than last? Hitting way worse? Making massive defensive mistakes

@SamOlbur There has literally never been a player whose profile games the WAR stat like PCA’s. He’s a an amazing defender of course but his WAR numbers vastly overrate his actual impact

Ian Happ and Seiya will end up with solid numbers. However, as I’ve said for many years, HOW they get there and WHEN they get them is what is frustrating to a lot of fans. The how means all the volatility and inconsistency. The when means clutch situations etc.

If hes average or below average there then I’d rather have PCA. Its funny you bring up Montgomery though who has a K rate over 30% for his career and an unsustainable HR rate
