BREAKING: Hundreds of Israeli settlers are right now carrying out a pogrom in the village of Deir al-Hatab in the West Bank, setting homes and vehicles on fire and attempting to burn families alive. So far, at least seven people have been injured.
An 18-year-old Israeli settler, Yehudah Sherman, died yesterday in a collision with a Palestinian vehicle in the village of Beit Imrin in the West Bank (details are still emerging, and Israeli police are investigating). Palestinian ambulances arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment to the injured until Israeli Magen David Adom teams arrived. Following his death, many Israeli officials, including ministers in the government, labeled the incident “murder” and called for revenge. That night, hundreds of Israeli settlers attacked more than 14 Palestinian villages and towns, setting dozens of homes and cars on fire, attempting to burn families alive, and then fleeing the scene. The attacks were highly organized and carried out with the backing and support of the Israeli government and the army.
