@KDansky It is possible that a good friend, hearing of my strong personal views on hoodies for middle-aged men, bought not only my husband but every member of the friend's and my own family identical hoodies, which they all wore to lunch. And they made me wear one.

I would like to remind the two members of my immediate family who voted against me in this poll that this was an unofficial, non-legally binding referendum, conducted under duress. In fact, I suspect vote tampering.

@Barber1944 Ahh that’s nice to know. The last time we went a few years ago, all that was on display was about Pegasus bridge.

It is now on display at the Airborne Forces Museum, Duxford.

Shortly after D-Day the 9th Parachute Battalion was involved in intense fighting at the Chateau St Come on the Breville Ridge. At its peak, the position was on the point of being lost when the padre, John Gwinnett nailed this flag to a tree to inspire the men. The position held.

Government pays child benefit until 31st August, they don’t!

@Argos_Online rubbish customer service today. Arrived damaged, and I have to deal with it! Would’ve returned but I can’t drive following an operation. But Argos not interested, can’t collect and can’t refund until they dictate. Be a long time before I order from them again! 😡
