Google Earth has recently incorporated NEW May 2026 Satellite Imagery of the destructive Enid, Oklahoma EF4 that occurred back in April. This satellite pass shows the extreme destruction, notably at the Southgate Rd Warehouses and 180mph maximum DI at the first loop. #wxtwitter

...Creek EF3 all before trying to surge one final time in SW VA at 05:30 UTC on April 28th. This supercell was showing tornadic activity for more than 9 hours and made it from the MS/AL border all the way to SW Virginia.

A largely unknown 4/27 fact. This supercell nearly produced an intense tornado next to Virginia Tech at 1:30 AM on 4/28, but was cut off last second. Unbelievably, this was the same cell that produced the Cordova EF4, the Rainsville EF5, and the Ringgold EF4 hours earlier.

@ReedTimmerUSA Direct vehicle strikes on storm chasing vehicles are exceptionally rare, happening perhaps only a handful of times in the decades since organized storm chasing began in the 1970s. A direct hit to a specific vehicle generally occurs less than once every few years.
