UPDATE: New picture from the controversial play where Austin Reaves was shoved
Before any other contact, Austin got his foot stepped on, causing him to lose his balance.
Tony Brothers reviewed this, and still ruled in the Rockets favor.
The @NBA has the worst referees.
Jasmine Crockett: “The level of disrespect that is continuously lobbed against us as black women. I am one of the 535 most powerful people in this country. And for some reason, you think we on the same level, but you gonna disrespect me?"
@bballbreakdown@LevAkabas Actually he was directly in his path. The off. player steps right into his chest to get a look at the rim because he’s behind the backboard otherwise. Terrible call or terrible rule.
This "legal guarding position" nonsense needs to end
This was an offensive foul (or a no call) for the first 70 years of the NBA
An offensive player can now plow into a defender's stomach simply because he's not standing 100% perfectly still?
@its_The_Dr 🤣🤣🤣
This is funny.
Do guys really think they are all just 10's, free from judgement?
At my best, my Irish ancestry gave me probably 36x27x34.
No Swift fan, at all.
OK, I’m working a game tonight, so I just met with our umpires and asked them about the play (two have been MLB call-ups). All three, and our ABS tech, said the same thing.
If any part of the ball was over the line, it’s a fair ball because it was inside the base. They said had it been a fly ball beyond the base and the first time it bounced, the physical ball was foul, but part of the ball hovered over the line, that would be foul, but assuming the umpire saw a part of the ball over the line, it was in fact a fair ball.
Three umpires, two that are MLB call-ups, and a former umpire that is the ABS tech. They were all insistent that it was a fair ball, and they avoid social media (as they should).
I just now showed the actual play to the ABS tech and he said that if part of the ball is over the line it’s fair.
I do trust the umpires on this.
@caldernet@BenVerlander If a ball hits fair territory first, it could (denying physics) roll foul by 5 feet then veer back and hit the bag and it would in fact be fair. If it's in foul territory and is touched by anyone or anything, it's foul.
@BenVerlander Seems really odd.
So the ball should have been foul when touched, but had the ball continued to roll parralel with the line and brushed the bag, abracadabra, it's fair?
I dunno.
@mike94474486@BenVerlander@NBAKirkland That's not what happened here. The ball never bounded over a base and sure as hell didn't settle in fair territory.
@clubmoms_ Dunno about the personalities so going off bodytype it's 3, but by the looks of it. Three if not all have belly button crap and that is the ugliest shit i know so based of these i guess 4 only cause i don't see no belly button crap. Prettiest face too not going to lie.
@HawkEmDownChris Ten years ago, I'd have said the NFL. Since then, the MLB has allowed the Dodgers to have an infinite payroll via deferments. Until rectified, MLB is a one contender league.
@LibertyCappy Whatwver was going on in 2005. It is called summers and el nino year. A basic textbook or simple google /grok /chatgpt would habe solved it for you. But here is my bit for your engagement farming.
What is going on in India? 🧐
Why is India so hot compared to other countries right now, even other countries in similar latitudes are at much different temperatures...
What is causing this?
