🇫🇷 Macron porzuca 65-letnią doktrynę Francji o odstraszaniu i chce bronić całej Europy francuską bronią jądrową, z USA lub bez nich. Francuskie Rafale z głowicami jądrowymi będą rotować w bazach w Polsce, Niemczech, Holandii, Belgii, Grecji, Szwecji, Danii i Czechach (Hiszpania i Włochy odmówiły). Francja zwiększa arsenał, utajnia info o liczbie głowic i koordynuje działania z Brytyjczykami, z którymi razem mają 515 głowic, wobec ponad 5 tys. rosyjskich [polecam wątek]

The Telegraph: Macron tore up 65 years of doctrine to defend Europe with French nukes, with or without the US. Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, and now the Czech Republic will host French nuclear-armed Rafales. 1/

@Mylovanov I think he means well but given the longstanding French tradition of surrender under fire, if I were European I would wish for another country (Germany or UK) to provide the nuclear deterrent.

@RandomJ80710594 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who gives a shit about “most”?
Need to win when it counts.
France didn’t do that during WWII.
Buncha surrender monkeys.
And they’ve been 🐈 when it comes to helping with anything in recent years.

@Lanta_FCB @bonesoflasalle Valid point. But he still wasn't French.
“His native language was Corsican, which is an Italian dialect, and when he spoke French, one could easily see he was a foreigner.” -- Jean-Antoine Chaptal, Napoleon’s interior minister

Arguably the best French & German generals of all time were both Italians. 😆 🇮🇹

Arguably the best Soviet & German General of WW2 were both Polish nobles. Erich Von Manstien’s birth name was Lewinski. His family served the Prussians back to Frederick the Great. Konstantin Rokossovsky came from a Polish nobile family who served the Tsar.

Not to proud to admit that I was wrong about the ability to go to school. We learn, we grow. Now…
@grok create a bullet list that compares the life of an Iranian woman today to that of an Iranian woman prior to the 1979 overthrow of the Shah. Specifically address women’s freedom and liberty.
English

“I’m sorry my president threatened to wipe out your entire civilization after promising your liberation.“

@adammocklerr What’s your message for the 45 million women in Iran who aren’t free, can’t go to school, can’t wear the clothes they want???

@DannyDeraney Maybe the only decent thing France does for us. 😂🫡🇺🇸

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend
English

@DannyDeraney France gave us nothing, that is our land, we fought we conquered the Germans. The French owe every one of those soldiers a debt of gratitude
English

@DannyDeraney @BillAckman It’s the least they could do. Otherwise they’d be called Germany
English

@DannyDeraney @mirandadevine I don’t think they (gave) us anything. We gave them their country back.
English

@DannyDeraney Beautiful gesture. Maybe they can let us use that land to fly combat missions to Middle East next time we ask...

@kw_col Covert aid began in 1776, Saratoga was won with French weapons

Yes and we have great respect and gratitude for that. Unfortunately you losers can’t shine the Marquis de Lafayette’s boots.
So why did you come in on our side? It was a calculated move to use us as a proxy to settle old scores with Britain. and you waited until you thought we could win. As usual for you.
• Revenge for the Seven Years’ War (1756–1763): French leaders, including Foreign Minister Comte de Vergennes, saw the American rebellion as a golden opportunity to weaken their rival without directly confronting Britain in Europe.
• Weakening British Power: By supporting the American colonies, France aimed to erode Britain’s colonial empire, naval dominance, and global influence.
• A convincing American military success.
The Battle of Saratoga (October 1777), where American forces defeated a major British army, proved the colonists could win. News of this victory reached France in December 1777 and convinced King Louis XVI and Vergennes to commit fully. history.state.gov
• Enlightenment Ideals: Some French nobles and intellectuals admired American republican ideas and the push for liberty, influenced by Enlightenment thinkers. Figures like the Marquis de Lafayette volunteered early for ideological and personal reasons. However, these were secondary to state interests. amrevmuseum.org

@ML3democrats @Michael_Voris Bullshit. We had the revolution won prior to your arrival - which was late.
English

@ML3democrats @Michael_Voris Yeah other than Napoleon the French are historically a bunch of pussies, right?
