Hard work by our DOJ Office of International Affairs and @USMarshalsHQ, in partnership with ICE and HSI, led to today’s extradition of Eswin Mejia into U.S. custody. Mejia will now face justice for the 2016 tragic death of 21-year-old Sarah Root who was killed from vehicular homicide. He should have never been in the United States—but will answer for his crime.
