RE4 Remake: High 1440p FSR3 Quality - 60FPS
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster: High 1440p no FSR - 60FPS with one dip in the intro
The Division 2: Medium 1440p - 60FPS
Dead by Daylight: Ultra 1440p - 60FPS
So far, so good with the little thing.

@J_Lee_Design Even if it’s like 15-18% of people play physical and I’d wager a lot of it is people who cannot afford new game prices and play hand me downs or used games that’s still very sizeable.

Thoughts after a few hours of playing with Steam Machine.
- 3D performance is just…meh.
- The system recommends to default to 1080p - am I going back to PS4 days?
- Some games take a looooooong time to boot, what is it doing?
- System UI is easy to use.
- Being able to boot up by pressing a button on Steam Controller is a killer feature.
- Changeable face plate is nice.
- Random boot up videos is a nice touch :)
- Sticks on Steam Controller is a bit looser than my taste.
- Having touch pad is nice, but it is very “touchy” and hard to use.
- It allows me to play Steam games on my living room TV, which is a reason enough to keep it.
- But the price was very unfriendly. Hard to recommend to people unless for research.

If your kid is known to sleep the whole night then you work to that premise. If something happens you are on call but it’s not common. You are allowed to push key

Really all of this could have been avoided if the child haver had asked everyone if it was ok at the possibility of them leaving mid key for their baby. WoW players are ALL about their time. Meaningful time sinks. Their time is valuable. Time is the most precious commodity. Its limited. So waste peoples time, they are likely to act like this.
A friend/guild group would be understanding, but strangers? You know what friends normally do first? Ask consent of their friends or warn them prior to starting content. This OP is overreacting, yes. Kid should always take priority, yes. Anyone can get pulled away by RL anytime sure. But give people a heads up. Thats fair & considerate of their time. Tricking/forcing people into things without warning is disrespectful. Idk man. I get OPs frustration but this is so excessive 💀

@takhsick A huge number of people who play wow have kids, we grew up while playing. Kids happen but most of the time we play at night after kids bedtime and things are generally stable. We have emergencies just like anyone with a pet I’ve seen more “man my dog just barfed” than kid stuff

@takhsick The major flaw with your take is that things are unplanned. My kiddo goes to bed and generally (most of the time) sleeps all night. Sometimes something might happen though rare and not part of the normal schedule. Encourages people to preemptively kick you just for having a kid

This xpac Blizz added competitive/relaxed etc game tags but we as a community never really laid out what that means.
What are the rules that we use to self govern behavior? There aren’t any and LFG has remained a Mad Max hellscape despite these additions.
Plus theres more nations than ever playing in the “World” of Warcraft which brings very different perspectives on what those rules should be. Early wow days were extremely different. How do you set global rules that everyone agrees to?

People do understand that babies can randomly wake up during their nap time, right? Sometimes they sleep for 2 hours and the next day 30 minutes. We can't control it.
Parents are allowed to game. We game during open windows but sometimes, just like life, it doesn't go as planned

@PatrioticGP @datnofact I mean my wife and I have decent rigs as of a couple years ago. Current pricing is obviously kind of brutal. They way we get around it for living room gaming as of right now as a micro PC for party games and a Steamlink with wired Ethernet for capitalizing on our rigs to play

Steam wants to get in the living room as far as I know. This is their version of a console. The big three consoles are set to be around 1500 plus dollars in the future from what Iv been reading, but its just hear say. I say dont purchase anything outside your budget. I bought a micro pc for 400 bucks and run a 9060 on an egpu. I play everything on the market high graphics. Its comparable to my 5000 dollar desktop I just got rid of.

@datnofact the price for ram, and Hard drives is probably around 650$ if not 700$. Don't buy it, and buy a Micro pc instead or something. You DONT NEED ONE to play your steam library. Bitching and Moaning is pretty lame.

US-Iran Peace Talks Fail.
The US delegation, led by JD Vance, entered the meeting arena first. This was strange, because the party that claims to be the upper hand typically arrives last.
Shortly after, the Iranian delegation arrived. They greeted the mediator, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif, but informed him that they refused to negotiate due to recent threats issued by Trump. They didn't meet Vance and then abruptly left.
A panicked Sharif frantically requested his boss, "Field Marshal" Munir, to intervene, but Munir also appeared helpless. Watching from a distance, Vance approached and asked what had happened. A shaken Sharif and Munir apologetically explained the situation to him.

Do you want to watch a movie or play a game where every dude looks like the gas station cashier or worse?? No, it is about the fantasy. It is pixels on a screen. It is not real life and does not need to be realistic.
Men and women prefer looking at someone attractive. Sex sells, always been that way. Just that before the left started ruining every hobby out there, companies actually understood that concept and created their characters accordingly.
