In ongoing searches by #Odisha #Vigilance against Bidyut Ranjan Bhol, Deputy Manager, Odisha Police Housing & Welfare Corporation (OPHWC), Rs 48.8 Lakhs cash, 29 plots, 2 multistoreyed bldgs, 1 flat in #Bhubaneswar, gold 1.14Kg, etc unearthed so far. Searches continuing.

Today, a short while ago, Sri Saroj Kumar Sahoo, Senior Assistant, O/o Sub-Treasury Officer, Khandapada, #Nayagarh, has been apprehended by #Odisha #Vigilance while taking bribe Rs. 3,000/- from a pensioner for facilitating credit of pensionary benefits in his favour.

Today, a short while ago, Sri Rajaram Bandra, R.I., Mangarajpur under Tangi- Choudwar Tahasil, #Cuttack has been apprehended by #Odisha #Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.30,000/- from a land owner for submitting favourable report in a mutation case.

Today,on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Panchu Behera, AE, SDO, DAHA Irrigation Sub-Division, O/o SE, Bhanjanagar Irrigation Division, #Ganjam, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by #Odisha #Vigilance at 5 places in Ganjam district.

Today, #Odisha #Vigilance arrested Pradip Kr Mohanty (Rtd Headmaster), serving post retirement at Block Edu Office, Korei, Jajpur, for misappropriating Rs 5.56 Crore Govt. funds by showing 13 retd teachers as serving, drawing fake salary bills, & diverting to personal accounts.
