Greater Manchester’s response to NPR announcement talks about a new station under Piccadilly. That alignment could suit the old HS2 tunnel plan (expected to be used for new Liverpool line). It will be interesting to see how a new through station connects eastwards to Yorkshire.

Northern politicians will not be seeing the Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR) they wanted - a new high speed line - but instead some electrification around Leeds in the 2030s and later a new Manchester-Liverpool route, DfT says. Overall there’s little detail in today’s announcement.

@Met4CastUK I just had a new turbo on mine, did it myself in the end. But that quote seems inline with what I was getting too. Watch out for wet belt cars it’s a risk with them 👍🏻

CAR UPDATE 🚗
Wet belt has 100% failed, that failure has blocked the pipe to the Turbo which means the Turbo has also failed & needs replacing.
Quoting £1800, huge amount of money but far better than needing a new car or engine.
