With ZERO evidence @ShamelessPopery rashly judges that faithful Catholics @NickJFuentes and @RealCandaceO pronounce Christ's kingship with untoward motives, which he magically divines Naturally, he also enjoys special esoteric knowledge that "Christ is King" is culturally Jewish Catholic Answers cornered the market on "um ackshually" gadfly apologetics
Command Media@CommandMediaTV

WATCH: Catholic Answers Apologist Joe Heschmeyer (@ShamelessPopery) attacks Catholics Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) and Nick Fuentes (@NickJFuentes) for "politicizing" the phrase "Christ is King." He went on to claim that the phrase actually has JEWISH roots.

@jnorm88846433 @DrJordanBCooper And I think EO, Baptist, and Anglicans are Christians. EO doesn’t think so (maybe some do) about Lutherans. Baptists mostly do and so do Presbyterians and Anglicans. And therein lies something that allows us to be closer.

One of the reasons why it's harder for us to argue with Lutherans and Anglicans is because you all share a lot with us. It's easier for us to argue with a Baptist, a Presbyterian or even a low church charismatic or non denominational because they rejected far more stuff than you guys.

Why is Fr. Schooping on a podcast with a guy who thinks Lutherans are heretics to critique EO? We're far closer to the EOC than someone like Ryan from NeedGodnet. It's one thing to speak to these issues with a Confessional Presbyterian or Anglican, but I don't see the value in discussing these issues with someone who is so far from any sense of sacramental efficacy, historical continuity, or really anything of the Reformation.
Philip Immanuel@1krist1reagerar

This is nice and all, but I honestly think it just makes things worse. No one on the brink of leaving evangelicalism is going to be convinced after watching this. Fr. Schooping — and maybe one other person in this lineup — carries any real weight on the subject. American evangelicals looking into the East do not need to hear “just stick with the Bible, bro” from more evangelicals. They need to hear from people who are actually in a visible church, under a confession, and who have read the Fathers seriously.

@jnorm88846433 @IFFFMEISTER @DrJordanBCooper Not sure where you are getting the charge of me being emotional lol. In the real world, Traditions that view each other as Christians are going to be closer to those that don’t think each other are Christians. That’s just a reasonable position, not an emotional one

I see, it's more emotional with you! Aren't confessional Lutherans exclusive too? I'm not worried about what confessional Lutherans think about the state of Eastern Orthodoxy. Nor does it bother me what Rome thinks about Orthodoxy or what the non-Chalcedonians think about us! Why? Christianity was always exclusive! Just look at what the ancient mainstream canonical church thought about the Novationists. And the first two generation Novationists believed exactly the same as the mainstream church (on most issues). They were just way more strict and rigid! And so Christianity was always exclusive! You all want the Orthodox to change what she always believed about itself. There was never a time in history in where Orthodoxy didn't see herself as the Church! So why should she change her mind about that now? Why should we change our mind about the concepts of schism and heresy?

@MetadiMetodi @IFFFMEISTER @DrJordanBCooper Interesting. My Baptist friends and myself see each other as Christian and saved by true faith in Christ. The RC kind of sees that now. Not sure if the EO, as a majority, does or not. Seeing each other as Christian automatically makes us closer, imo.

@IFFFMEISTER @Ray437677951852 @DrJordanBCooper CFW Walther believed that Baptists and Methodists are closer to the truth and the gospel than Catholics, even though they are memorialists and non-sacramental. It seems to me that Walther's logic would also apply to Eastern Orthodoxy, perhaps even more so than to Catholicism.

@IFFFMEISTER @DrJordanBCooper I said “not necessarily” and those two issues are important but the divide between EO and Concordia is still pretty wide. I think it just depends on what the focus is. EO doesn’t think anything happens at the Divine Service I attend and not sure they think I’m actually baptized.

@Ray437677951852 @IMAO_ They're one enrichment away from having weapons-grade uranium. So we're led to believe. It doesn't matter whether they already have it or have never had it; they won't publicly announce that they have no desire to develop nukes.

@JDFarmer94583 @IMAO_ Also, the American people have been told for over 20 years that Iran was close to getting a nuke. I don’t know either way, but I am not sure many people believe it. We are about 5-7 years away of people admitting that the Iran war was a bad idea. This is Bush 2.0

@PheebTastically @IMAO_ “Trust me guys, it will go down” will not work. The average person isn’t deep into politics but they know what affects their day to day life and will probably vote accordingly.

Gas is expensive but guess what. You're comparing Trump gas prices to Trump gas prices because even now it is still cheaper than BIDEN'S. Trump explained the gas , it will go down. I don't think anyone with a brain thinks that life is going to suddenly be perfect every minute of the day. We were put in a huge hole for 4 long years so right now any improvement is a relief.

@ThomasEWoods I am hoping Massie runs as a an independent for that seat. He may win, or maybe the Democrat wins. Either way, I can’t say I’d be upset for any loss for the Bush 2.0 administration.

My daughter was distraught over Massie today. I told her: your age group went for him nearly 80-20. I also told her: Boomers are the most selfish and ignorant voting bloc in the history of the U.S.

"Massie lost. The Right will stay home and there will be a blue wave." In KENTUCKY? The state that went almost 30 points for Trump? Where a Democrat would lose to a pair of Converse high tops? What concentric circle of Cope Inferno are we descending into, exactly?
