Official papers - released today - show Israeli fans were banned from Birmingham because "elements of the community in the West Midlands [wanted] to arm themselves." But the police hid this, invented evidence to support a decision they had already taken and then lied about it. Instead of dealing with the racist extremists in Birmingham who were threatening violence, they lied about the reasons, blamed the Israelis and claimed the Jewish community supported it This is absolutely devastating for West Midlands Police and the Chief Constable must either resign or be fired. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…
