Elon Musk took over Twitter, ridiculously changing its name to the single letter of the alphabet most associated with pornography, adjusted the algorithm away from the Left’s preferences, but then opened the door to AI slop, ever increasing misinformation, and raging antisemitism. On a daily basis, accounts drop AI generated videos seeking to mislead people. Tel Aviv has been leveled by Iran two dozen times in the past four weeks and anything that offends the Left is a genocide. Insanity runs rampant. People who want to be informed are, instead, misled. Twitter has been exploited by monetized accounts seeking profit from outrage and by misinformation campaigns seeking to undermine a war effort against the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism. In a hyper-online age, people have lost the ability to discern what is true. They too often rely on influencers on the internet who often have an incentive to keep people whipped into existential terror and lie. They claim some special gnostic insight that you can only determine by following those people. @MattWalshBlog Regarding the first half; that’s always true about any point in time, nobody in the next anybody, and all that Re second half; I think there are more kids like this than you are suggesting, but I would be curious to see data pointing either way.

It’s not just nostalgia. This was our childhood and it’s gone now. As a parent you can, through great effort, create the conditions for some version of this for your own children today. But the problem is that most of the other kids are screen addicted zombies who don’t really want to run around outside until the streetlights turn on. So an energetic, free spirited kid who’d rather climb a tree than stare at a screen ends up being kind of isolated. 30 years ago he’d have been the most popular kid in the neighborhood. Now the other kids in the neighborhood are home with the screen and he’s climbing the tree by himself.

@WillGoble @F530Josh They attempted to de-escalate by asking her to exit the car. When she ignored the request and instead used the car as a weapon, what followed was within the realm of what would be considered predictable.

@F530Josh You just framed a situation where you basically held a professional law enforcement team to the same standard as a civilian panicking. They have to be held to a higher standard as professionals. It should be clearly within their toolkit to de-escalate and or allow escape.

What this actually looks like: ICE tries to get woman who thinks she's being cute for a video to move her vehicle. Three agents surround the vehicle, one from the front, two from the driver's side. Likely looking to gain control of the situation. It is not cute to them, as they're being surrounded by a mob. Woman panics, realizing this is in fact not cute, and attempts to flee thinking she can avoid arrest. Tire loses traction and the car doesn't immediately respond to gas input. Woman panics further and guns the gas causing an erratic vehicle take off. Agent at the front of the vehicle almost gets hit. Agents respond by opening fire thinking the woman is using the vehicle as a deadly weapon, trying to hit the lead ICE agent at the front of the vehicle. Woman who shouldn't have even been there, but was there because she got spun out of control on TikTok drama dies. Agents have to live with it. Will likely have people demanding a mob-style execution by COB today. What the Right Wants: Psychotic leftist domestic terrorist tries to kill ICE agents! We should use more force. What the Left Wants: Fascist NAZI psychopaths are murdering women and children! We should use more force. Who actually wins: Minnesota politicians and bureaucrats who can spin this into a riot and continue to avoid accountability for fraud. Federal politicians who can use the flames to continue to avoid accountability for a billionaire child sex trafficking ring. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Don't be stupid, stupid.
