@Cynthric_Gaming @shamansnail @Sinnoware Why is getting a bad ending a punishment? You act a certain way and get a fitting result, the game (dishonored) never tells you you can't beat it in a fun way 100 times and then beat it "proper" just once to see the canon good ending

@shamansnail @Sinnoware It would help if games like Prey and Dishonored didn’t punish you for playing the game in interesting ways. They lock the good endings behind playing them like a shooter/stealth game.

@lincplaysgames @blacknredtext Metro 2033 has this, on Ranger easy and Ranger hardcore, you and the enemies become glass canons, and makes you corner peak and swap cover a lot more, the only caveat is that the Ranger difficulties also fuck with the hud.

@ReavanyDO @LochUndKeyed there's a swimming mod for 1.7.10, there's Sodium/Irish (performance/shaders) backported to 1.7.10, hell there's Ex Futurum which just straight up adds back almost all the modern shit.

@HeinrichHyper @LochUndKeyed But yea the tech mods mix perfectly with the game when they work right cause improving combat is hard and making the game look better often kills fps regardless of your pc, so mods where you end up building a factory on a small area just make a lot of sense

@HeinrichHyper @LochUndKeyed Its nice being able to solve things like inventory space with a mod or two, only problem I got with old versions is when they are missing features which should have been in game from the beggining like swimming and then you cant find a mod that fixes it
