Cannibalism: According to Cardinal Cajetan (Commentary on ST.II-II, q. 148, a. 2), in the case of a war where many dead bodies are around, and a survivor has no other food, he may lawfully engage in cannibalism. Fr. McHugh & Fr. Callan (Moral Theology, vol. II) concur on this.

The @SSPXEN have distanced themselves from sedevacantist positions, with the official news outlet publishing a talk against the stance. @FSSPXFR -- “In light of the doctrinal deviations observed since the Second Vatican Council among a large portion of the ecclesiastical hierarchy, certain so-called “sedevacantist” movements — unaffiliated with the FSSPX — recklessly assert that the Church could survive without a pope and that those who hold the highest offices do not truly possess the authority they claim.”

The Saints would have rather perished than commit even one venial sin. This modern sentiment of purgatory being the goal is going to be damning for many.

@AelfricEynsham @Catholicizm1 They explicitly stated that they can't spend forty hours on that one topic. The subject of the series is "The Crisis in the Church," not Sedevacantism exclusively.

@Recusant_Press @Catholicizm1 The arguments they give there address a watered-down version of S’ism; they don’t argue against a steelmanned position. They also ignore responses that have been given to the kinds of arguments that they repeat.

"Since that guilty woman of England (Queen Elizabeth), rules over two such noble kingdoms of Christendom and is cause of so much injury to the Catholic faith, and loss of so many million souls, there is no doubt that whosoever sends her out of the world with the pious intention of doing God service, not only does not sin but gains merit, especially having regard to the sentence pronounced against her by Pius V of holy memory. And so if these English nobles decide actually to undertake so glorious a work, your lordship can assure them that they do not commit any sin." - Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, Papal secretary (J.B. Black, The Reign of Elizabeth P.143)

Because Christians have been cruelly shut out of the Most Holy Sepulcher, we may instead view the curious drawings of the building printed in the "Trattato delle piante e immagini de sacri edifizi di Terra Santa" of Fr. Bernardino Amico, O.F.M.Obs.

It is not enough to pray and fast externally, we must also examine our conscience sincerely and recognize the sins that separate us from God. Many of these sins have become common and even accepted in the world today. Yet, according to the teachings of the Church, especially as explained in the Baltimore Catechism, sin is an offense against God, who is infinitely good and worthy of all our love. We must not fall into despair, thinking God will not forgive us, nor into presumption, thinking we can sin without consequence. Both are dangerous for the soul. The Sacrament of Confession is a great mercy given by Our Lord. No matter how grave our sins may be, if we confess them with true contrition, God forgives and restores our soul to grace. Let this Lent be the time we return fully to God, not tomorrow, not later, but now. 🙏 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen Give me the grace to make a sincere confession, to amend my life, and to avoid the occasions of sin. Strengthen me to carry my cross and follow Thee faithfully. Amen. 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣. Catholics are still usually in the defensive posture and on the battlefield of the enemy's choosing, which implies and accepts their 'sovereignty.' Rather than saying things like: "quoting the Bible is not antisemitism", we should be saying things like: "accepting the Faith is the only way for Jews to be saved from their tribal self-idolatry and the consequences of their sins."

And, if it is — so be it! “It is necessary to preach the truth to the Jews, without being afraid of irritating them, as Jesus who taught publicly the truth which they hated, and reproached them for their vice, without being afraid of irritating them.” — St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica, III, 42, 2

@Cincinnati_Son @AmericanReform_ I do not understand what you mean by "We [Presbyterians?] invited you [Catholics?] here [where?] on that stipulation [which says what?] and you agreed [when and how?]" Do not say that I am playing dumb. Your previous comment was illegible.

Cruz is substantially right. What he fears is an existential threat to the hegemonic liberal order, which is nothing other than the Social Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ. They know they are “playing for keeps” and that the Catholic program of politics will end their grand ecumenical, Masonic and liberal experiment. Recall, Catholic doctrine maintains: • The duty of civil rulers to publicly honor and obey Christ • The (indirect) subordination of the State to the Church • The duty of the State and civil rulers to restrict the liberty of thinking and publishing in religious and moral matters • The necessity of the State, qua State, to worship God in the true (Catholic) religion
