@PedroTribu @ChShersh WSL defaults to 50% of your windows memory. you add 'memory=xxGB' to the .wslconfig then restart. Nothing to do with Windows.

@ChShersh WSL is good but it also suffers a lot from Windows's terrible memory management, I get oom all the time when working with unit tests on WSL and it crashes

@zeeg you like books, they like manga, others like movies and anime. they're all the same thing. a story. TUIs are fanfics - pointless, stitched together, and usually terrible.

TUIs are not good sorry yall a CLI is a utility, and situational. this should not be confused with stuffing a full interactive GUI into a low capability platform. "lets ignore all the great UI technology of the last 20 years and build some caveman shit"

Opus 4.7 seems to hallucinate so much compared to 4.6/4.5. Can we add 4.5 back to the model selector on desktop/web? @claude @ClaudeDevs 4.6 just doesn't understand nuance enough for my day-to-day.

I learned more managing restaurants and working in consumer/business financials than any class could ever teach me. My take is you can't solve problems you have no experience in.

College is much worse than it was 15 years ago. I decided to go back again and restart my creative tech career over Covid. The courses are old, outdated, and some professors are extremely biased. Most of my classes are structured like you have never touched a computer before.
Paul Graham@paulg

If you skip some or all of college to start a startup, it's on you to develop your mind the way college would have. And that's not something that happens by default in most startups.

There will be zero reason to pay for GitHub Copilot after June 1st. $40 will get you the same usage buying a ChatGPT / Claude subscription. Prices are the same as using OpenAI / Anthropic / Azure directly: docs.github.com/en/copilot/ref… The new multipliers are extremely crazy.

Starting June 1st, GitHub Copilot will move to a usage-based billing model as GitHub Copilot supports more agentic and advanced workflows. In early May, you'll see a preview bill experience, giving visibility into projected costs before the transition. 👉 Read more about the upcoming change: github.blog/news-insights/…

@elvissun @NousResearch why is opt in better than opt out for a branded product? on that note, you can add your own to the yaml and set it... i added 🐸

@heygurisingh Hostinger has terrible customer service who has zero idea what they are doing. They were great 3 years ago now it's AI slop.

Vercel's pricing model is a scam. Hostinger just dropped Node.js hosting at $3.99/mo flat. No usage fees. 1-click deploy from GitHub. Fully managed servers and security baked in. While Vercel charges you per request, this is a flat bill that doesn't move. Quote post.

Something big just landed for devs 💥 A new way to deploy Node.js apps is here — built for speed and serious security. ⚡️ 1-click deploy from GitHub 🛡️ Fully managed servers & security 💸 $3.99/mo flat. No usage-based fees Start deploying on Hostinger: hstn.gr/6L

The answers: A) Yes. B) No - Autistic only - Medication for ADHD was provided April '25 - and while the model can focus, it can't seem to break free of cherry-picking. The real fact: ADHD > Autism 🥰
