@jonchesto @BostonGlobe I have no intimate knowledge. I’d ask some downtown focused office brokers who weren’t on either side of the deal, off-record. The main question is: “what’s the true “absorption” resulting from this move.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for it to be positive 📰 for the market.

@RedDomeRealty @BostonGlobe I was told by the company that there will be a net increase of 20-25K in square footage. However, there's room in the tower for another 300 jobs. They keep their D Street offices for now. But maybe they eventually relocate, too?

With the real estate I say Sox are worth $15b, easy. Not to mention if an 80% share of @NESN was included. Bs own 20%.

How could Red Sox be worth merely $6.5b, unless that valuation doesn’t include @fenwaypark’s real estate value? Heck, the Celtics just sold for that, sans real estate. This number seems very light. @SBJ @jonchesto #CRE

It just seems logical, from #CRE & general economic perspectives, that rolling out three brand new ⚽️ 🏟️s within a short period of time of one another; in Pawtucket, Everett & Boston (about a one hour radius), is “lots” for the marketplace to handle so very abruptly.
