Today, we mourn the loss of Officer Darron Burks. We will never forget his sacrifice and his heroism. Please pray for his family, friends and the men and women of the Dallas Police Department. Our thoughts remain with our injured officers, as they continue to recover.

“The fentanyl epidemic has taken far too many innocent lives.” – Governor @GregAbbott_TX As we look ahead to National Fentanyl Awareness Day tomorrow, we are reminded the dangers this deadly drug poses to Texans. Fentanyl is often pressed into fake pills or cut into street drugs, such as methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine — often without the user knowing it — and the outcome can be deadly.
