TW: disability/abuse I am sharing screenshots from my video that I can without compromising this man’s privacy. He was holding up his reduced fare disability metrocard, and then this was the moment the cop grabbed this man, who, AT WORST, had been riding between subway cars.

I’m shaking right now. On the subway home from Brooklyn, I just witnessed the NYPD violently remove a disabled man from the train because he was suspected of riding between train cars. This is what they’re using their ten BILLION dollar budget for. THIS. IS. NOT. SAFETY.

@JaniceDean the reality is those #COVID19 patients were brought to nursing homes since nursing home owners ARE huge donors to @andrewcuomo and #NYDemocrats - it backfired AS all corruption eventually does

My friend Peter Arbeeny whose father contracted covid in a Brooklyn nursing home and died shortly afterwards has been compiling a timeline with data and links to all of this information that I hope will be published someday and used in a court of law against Andrew Cuomo.

This month I will be chronicling all of the information leading up to deadly March 25th, 2020 order from @andrewcuomo that brought over 9,000 covid positive patients into nursing homes and helped kill over 15,000 seniors that his administration tried to cover up.

@msolurin the exception is #FamilyCourt where under the guise of privacy judges get away with anything - documents are also sealed so the allow for little oversight

@jkbjournalist a lot of the “legal system” works this way - the attention and scrutiny in a high-profile case brings this to light! In a district court you willfind even more egregious behavior it just doesn’t get caught!

@CourtWatchNYC it’s as if the judge is acting as an arm of the @ManhattanDA - there’s literally no “check & balance” in the system often

Despite the fact that an inability to pay bail would cut the accused person off from mental health services, Judge Hanshaft set $5000 cash bail/ $50,000 bond, arguing that the accused is a flight risk (note: the accused has no history of failing to appear nor prior record).

THREAD: On Saturday, the @ManhattanDA requested $300k bond/ $100k cash bail for an unhoused man with a history of mental health needs who was taken to the hospital following his arrest and prescribed medication.
