Not a Liverpool fan, but contrast the reaction to this loss by their fans to the Arsenal fans who boo their team, undermine their club and create anxiety at the Emirates. Proper club Liverpool... great @ManCity rival. Respect.

@Supermacs_knee Liam Brady scored a worldy that night. Beat three men and put it in the top corner. Sat in the West Upper and had a row with a posh Woman who was slagging off Alex Cropley who had just returned from a twice broken leg!

13th April 1976 Arsenal 2-1 Wolves On his 51st league appearance, Highbury cult hero Terry Mancini's sole Gunners goal has the significance of ensuring #Arsenal's top flight survival! As a consequence of this relegation 4-pointer,Wolves drop out of Division 1 at the season's end.

Tough shit all you pea-brained Brexiters out there. Two-thirds of us back Starmer’s plan to align us more closely with the EU. Starmer has his finger on the pulse and is repairing the huge damage done to this country back in 2016. Great news. #RejoinEU

Name one song you consider a masterpiece. I know it’s not easy to choose just one, but that’s what makes it a challenge.

@20th_Centurygal You're right, it's tough, but off the top of my head, "The Sounds of Silence". Honorable mentions, at least, for Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade of Pale".

What songs can you simply NOT listen to? They instantly make you skip the track or change station? For me there are only two. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On Dexy’s Midnight Runners - Come on Eileen The 2nd particularly is so terrible and ingrained into my brain from attending a glut of 80s and 90s family weddings that I simply cannot allow it in my ears.

Big shame for Bournemouth to lose Iraola but he was never renewing this summer, especially based on what else could be available. Manchester United should be calling him already.

When it comes to the debate between Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard, I’ll be honest, I don’t think Scholes and Lampard come close. Gerrard was a tier above. That is in no way an insult to two of the greatest players of all time, it’s just how good Gerrard was. Gerrard could do everything they could , they couldn’t do what Gerrard did to the same level or consistency. He was more skilful, creative, technically better and more rounded, more versatile, he was on another planet to them both physically and played for a much worse team. He’s also the greatest clutch, Roy of the Rovers player I’ve ever seen in the UK. It was absurd the amount of times he dragged Liverpool to glory from despair. I’m not buying into the “didn’t win a prem narrative”. Football is a team sport and there is far more to it than that. If he’d have joined Chelsea or Man Utd, he would have won tonnes. R9 never won a champions league , he’s still the most devastating and greatest striker I’ve ever seen.

What is a band that was really popular, but you never liked them? For me, it was Cheap Trick. I just never got them at all. I never liked any of their songs.

Speech-language therapist Sai Keerthana Sriperambuduru claimed English was her native tongue on her NHS job application to dodge language proficiency checks. In reality her first language is Telugu, and she later admitted she couldn’t even understand her English-speaking colleagues or patients. She was sacked after just eight months at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Trust. The tribunal ruled she deliberately deceived her employer and has now been struck off the professional register. You literally couldn’t make this up.

This is the way. Just last year five middle school aged girls refuse to compete in sports against a “tr*ns” athlete. Sad that 13-year-olds have to take a stand since adults are too scared of the woke mob to protect their own daughters.
