Over two fruitless weeks I've spent 2hrs 8mins on 9 phone calls (or mostly on hold) to @SparkNZ. Me and their bots/staff with unlikely names like Cinderella, KimChristian and Chiggy have exchanged 4865 words over 3hrs 14mins of messaging. My question is...

$290,964 out of $803,580 = CONSULTANT Costs
Do we think its fair The Tokoroa Council can spend 36.2% of the total cost on 'Consultants' & Professional Fees.
Now i know Library's are a decent size construction project but i would love more info on the breakdown of all the consultants...
And this should be open book for every rate payer to see.

This is very important to understand

Money is stored energy — your time and creativity in crystallized form. When money is dishonest, your life's energy is silently stolen. Bitcoin, as honest money, prevents debasement and preserves your energy. What do you want to build? What do you want to mirror?

Amazing to see 17 year old sensation Bishop Neal named in the starting NSW Cup side. 6'4", 113kg and able to outpace a lot of outside backs. He is going to be a massive problem for oppositions in the future.

@qthomp Australia has no place sending the three life rafts we call a navy to Iran, we need them to police our fishermen and surfers.

It should be taken with a grain of salt when you hear European and Asian countries saying they won’t help to open the Strait. Majority of these countries are short oil and will face severe crises if they don’t act. There are definitely closed door conversations in the US being had around testing these partners’ resolve. The problem is that although it’s not *as* big of a problem for the US, it’s still bad.
It could get a bit weird. Trump may threaten US export restrictions on oil and gas if they don’t assist which would decrease price pressures domestically but worsen the situation for our allies. On the other hand, they could counter with threats of Treasury and US asset sales to raise dollars to fund higher energy costs at the expense of financial market stability.

The difference between government and the private sector in one video.
MBIE has 9,000 sqm opposite our NZ office, and we often look across at an almost empty office. This was 9am on a Wednesday.
The wasted office space and rent alone is crazy. I’d bet they could operate in a fraction of that footprint. The Reserve Bank’s new Britomart office looks even worse. A horrific waste.
One of my biggest criticisms of this government is that it should be far more ruthless in moving roles out of government and into the private sector. And more aggressively demanding people are in offices being productive.
There are simply too many roles that add little or no real value.
