We must invest more into the OAG to continue pursue these out of state bad actors who rack up driving penalties in the District. As a survivor of a hit and run car wreck from a car with VA tags, I see these settlements not only as a revenue victory, but more importantly a win for traffic safety.

NEW: We secured five settlements and won nine new court judgments against out-of-state repeat dangerous drivers. Together, they will be required to pay $531,192. We also filed five new STEER Act lawsuits — including a driver who single-handedly racked up $284,550 in violations.

Dr. Oye has expanded his financial lead in the race while adding major new labor endorsements. In the last month, the campaign received 233 contributions from DC residents totaling $12,023, generating $72,138 through the District’s Fair Elections Program. With no PAC money, the campaign has now raised $330,226 from 1,787 total donations. “These numbers show that DC residents are stepping up to support our campaign and the work we’re doing to fight for the District,” said Dr. Oye.

NEW: The nat'l @Target boycott has surpassed the 400-day mark. @jamalbryantpod, @ninaturner, and @TamikaDMallory (np) joined D.C. organizers and provided updates about their efforts.

In the Dem at-large race, @repoyedc still leads the way with $175k in the bank. He also raised the most last month. @LisaJRaymond has about $151k, @candacetiana has nearly $68k, and @DaOrganizer has about $10k. Still waiting on reports from @KevinChavous and @GregoryJackson
