Last week was my final week at Perplexity. After nearly four years of full‑speed, labor‑of‑love work, I felt ready to pass the baton. I’m excited to share that @scspeier will lead the design team going forward. There are many things I’m proud of, but most of all I’m proud of the design culture at Perplexity. Personal update: I was impacted by the layoffs at Meta this morning. Feelings of relief, curiosity, and excitement are mainly what I’m experiencing :) I will be taking some time to reflect before looking for my next role. DMs are open if you’re hiring designers!
