Autonomous labs are definitely the way to go if we want to keep the U.S. ahead. But you simply cannot underestimate the U.S. superpower of immigration that the current administration is eroding away. Startups, technology, science, all are flowing into China. The one thing that isn't is people (except Chinese expatriates). It is the single-most important factor that will ensure that the U.S. dominates this important sector. Combining the best and brightest with autonomous labs and AI is going to be the winning combination.

Because GPU’s were so cheap just about any grad student (e.g Ilya) could use them to do Deep Learning.

By targeting an obscure "FsTx" framework hidden inside the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), attackers gain full read/write drive access. Microsoft has no patch yet.
