After a fiery congressional hearing, Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano immediately greeted Democratic members of Congress and left the room instead of speaking to angel mom Cheryl Minter. Descano gave a “fake” “performative” apology to Ms. Minter when the cameras were rolling during his statement, but did not speak to her before or after the hearing.
Nick Minock@NickMinock

I asked Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano why it took a congressional hearing for him to finally apologized to angel mom Cheryl Minter.

Prayers for DNI Tulsi Gabbard as she resigns citing her husband’s new diagnosis of a rare form of bone cancer. May this draw them close to the Great Physician.

@LloydLegalist I can't tell if Woody has "not enough Calvinism" or "too much Calvinism".... Woody seems theologically conflicted. I know, I've been there. I'd encourage him to just "collar up" and go Anglican.

BREAKING: DOJ tells @FoxNews that 32-year-old Muhammad Abdulqadir Omar, the accused Minnesota fraudster seen on video jumping off a fourth story balcony and fleeing from federal agents, is wanted for $3.3 million in Medicaid fraud and is still on the run. Photo of vehicle he is believed to be driving as well. Per DOJ: "Muhammad Abdulqadir Omar, 32, was charged by indictment with one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and four counts of health care fraud in connection with a scheme to submit $3.3 million in fraudulent claims to the Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) Program of Minnesota Medicaid, of which approximately $3.2 million was paid. As alleged in the indictment, Omar co-owned and operated North Home Health Care LLC (NHHC) and Omar individually owned South Home Health Care LLC (SHHC). Omar, through NHHC and SHHC, submitted claims to the HSS Program for services that they did not provide and for more services than were actually provided to Medicaid recipients. Omar then created records falsifying the services that they claimed to have provided to Medicaid recipients and provided those records to insurers to justify their fraudulent claims."

Funny, when I was a kid I held higher ed in the highest esteem as sign of prestige and accomplishment. And now I have zero regard for it. The more people throw out their diplomas and degrees, the less I think of them. Tell me your alma mater and I eye roll. Drop an Ivy League reference and I laugh out loud. Fulton Sheen said the intelligentsia are those educated beyond their intelligence. That is all of academia: a self impressed bullshit circle, citing each other, publishing each other, podcasting each other, praising each other, with intellectual exercises full of S&F signifying nothing. Useless people who quite frankly make the world worse and more stupid. Modern Higher Ed is a total waste of time and money churning out bitter, depressed, students with no ability to contribute meaningfully to society and stuck in cycles of debt and study, study and debt, until mid life crisis. Mr. Bonner won’t be remembered past tomorrow. He’s unworthy to even reference Jefferson let alone besmirch him.

🚨 UVA Graduation Becomes Another Jefferson Struggle Session This is Kenyon Bonner, UVA’s Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer, using graduation to take the now-standard UVA swipe at Jefferson. Bonner said Jefferson’s “ethically corrosive claims about human capacity reflected his ignorance and his hubris,” adding that “ignorance precedes injustice.” That is a pretty sweeping charge to make from the graduation stage at Jefferson’s university, especially when Jefferson’s actual record is more complicated than the flattened campus script allows. Jefferson corresponded with Benjamin Banneker, the Black mathematician and astronomer, and wrote that “nobody wishes more than I do” to see evidence that Black Americans had “talents equal” to others. By the standards of his era, Jefferson showed more intellectual openness than many of his contemporaries. UVA should be the last place beating him with the hammer of presentism. The irony is that Bonner eventually admits the obvious. Jefferson’s blueprint for an educated democracy was “compelling, transcendent, and transformational.” Exactly. That is the point. UVA exists because of Jefferson’s vision and the American university system was profoundly shaped by it. Maybe the Chief Student Affairs Officer who all but rolled out concierge service for the encampment crowd should be a little more careful before turning graduation into another Jefferson struggle session. That’s my two cents. It would have made this clip too long, but this moment was preceded by the usual UVA land acknowledgment, because apparently that has to come before the Jefferson-was-bad acknowledgment.

@Pastor_Gabe It's in the context of the local church that Gods gifts us with the gifts we're to use in building up HIs church. Eph.4:12 "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" and we can't build up the body of Christ from home!

@KeiferStreet @farmingandJesus @PastorMark Yeah, but what Mark seems to miss is Mary wasn't listening to the world because she was listening to God. I see his intended meaning, but wow! He really didn't use good judgement in how he said it. AND, then his reaction to being called out is extremely arrogant & prideful.

@farmingandJesus @PastorMark He wasn’t accusing Mary of wanting to get an abortion. It was a slam on abortion because if someone like her were to exist today, the world would have told her to abort Jesus in the same circumstances…

@Protestia I used to be KJVO because of the church I went to drilling it into my head. Most of them don't know they're using the 1769, not the 1611. They couldn't read the 1611 if they tried, and to say it corrects the Greek and Hebrew is incredibly arrogant.

God promised to preserve His word. The KJV is where He preserved it. Therefore the KJV corrects the original language when the original language is wrong. Logical conclusion: God’s word wasn’t inspired in the original language written by the original authors. It’s was inspired when the 40 translators translated the KJV translation. 🤣🤣

Here’s the deal: Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas and all their friends knowingly violated the Virginia Constitution. They purposefully violated clear constitutional procedures to deceive voters, capping off their master deception with ballot language meant to confuse everyone. They strongly argued for the VA Supreme Court to “wait” until after the referendum so their flood of money from national democrats could fund their brazen dishonesty and trick voters to “restore fairness”, and then claim “the will of the people” when the VA Supreme Court would undoubtedly strike down their unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Virginians. It’s a disgusting disregard for Virginians, the Constitution and a flagrant violation of their oath of office.

@WWUTTcom What's hilarious is that anyone thinks they can understand this, how a sovereign creator God works, how he can "control" events and people, and they are still accountable beings. Best quit while you're behind.

So let me get this straight... The Bible explicitly says God predestined the murder of His own perfect Son, and who would do it (Acts 4:27-28), man's greatest evil for God's greatest good (Genesis 50:20), as foreordained by God. The Bible explicitly says nothing comes to pass, good or bad, unless God has commanded it (Lamentations 3:37-38). It explicitly says every single one of your days was written in God's book before a single day came to be (Psalm 139:16), and you cannot change it (Job 14:5), nor can you add even a single moment more to your span of life (Matthew 6:27). But you're still certain that God does not ordain whatsoever comes to pass? Hm.
