First of all, it's YYZed... And second of all - no, I can't get it. It's impossible. Neil Peart stands alone.

It’s already far too late for you. They’re all tracking and surveilling your every move. Just accept you have no choice in the matter unless you change everything about your life, which you won’t, and take advantage of cool stuff they can do with all your data.

To be clear idgaf and just accept that the government, Google, Apple, etc all know everything about me so I gladly give up all my data and privacy in return for increased efficiency, convenience, and personalized service

Almost all of my writing has disappeared off the Internet including some interviews and features I don't have a copy of. Every site, no matter the size, is vulnerable to this. Save your work.
Caitlin Cooper@C2_Cooper

Oh cool, this redirects to ABC politics now — a needless erasure of tons of work. I have a copy saved, but let this be a reminder to all of my writer friends to always back up what’s online because it’s always at risk, due to the fragility of this industry, to be offline.

I went on a date with a guy who worked for American Youth Soccer. He said basically American men's has never won a world cup because we don't have kids playing soccer in the street and Brazilian soccer is so influenced by kids playing in tight streets. Mamdani has a 30 year plan
Pop Base@PopBase

Zohran Mamdani has turned blocks in front of 50 NYC public schools into car-free ‘Soccer Streets’ where children can play in celebration of the upcoming World Cup.

If Trump banned oil exports, the US would be forced to run more light sweet which reduces the efficiency of our old refineries and only creates an even greater shortage of diesel & jet fuel. #OOTT
Leggmason@Leggmason111

@SheDrills And what if he imposes a ban on crude oil exports or even on kerosene/jet fuel, diesel…🤡

Joe Lim estimates that 90 percent of what you see on the internet is advertising in disguise, and he should know. For three years, Lim ran a company called Floodify, which at its peak operated 65,000 dummy social-media accounts used to drum up attention on behalf of paying clients. The point of this kind of marketing is that nobody is supposed to notice it. But lately, the machinery has started to show. In April, Justin Bieber headlined two consecutive weekends at Coachella. Coachella is the biggest stage in pop music save only for the Super Bowl, the kind of event that in theory generates its own attention. And yet on both weekends, a Discord server writer Lane Brown had been monitoring hosted paid campaigns for Bieber’s Coachella performances, offering clippers — people who are hired to turn a song, trailer, interview, stump speech, or whatever into short, social-media-friendly fragments — as much as a dollar per thousand views. “On social media, popular opinion is being formed, measured, and manipulated all at once, and every signal the platforms produce — a trending song, a backlash, a talking point, the feeling that ‘everybody’ is suddenly talking about the same thing — can now be fabricated by unseen actors with hidden agendas,” writes Brown. “Everybody is doing this now,” Lim says. “And if you’re not, you’re behind.” Brown reports on how the same techniques are now being used to fool people on every app they go to in order to find out what other people think, not just in music but across entertainment, politics, consumer products, and celebrity gossip: nymag.visitlink.me/w6Bu9N

First Gazan to file a case against Hamas at the ICC demanding that 14 Hamas leaders be investigated for crimes committed against the Palestinian people and other war crimes. The Gazan who filed the case lost his wife, children, and home during the Gaza war. All war criminals must be held accountable.

@RexKwonDo92 @constans Kind of pissed, to be honest. Being dysfunctional was our thing, and it was much more harmless for the wider world. Sure, the occasional genocide occurred, but it was kept in local. The U.S. just had to come in and swoop all the glory, didn’t it 😑😒

"Much of the alarm traces to Karen Hao’s 2025 bestseller 'Empire of AI,' which claimed a Google data center in Chile could consume more than a thousand times a town’s water supply. That figure is off by a factor of a thousand, due to a unit conversion error Hao later acknowledged" 💀

It's hard to do parody when these people are already weird parodies of normal folks. Just look at this season of The Boys, South Park, SNL, multiple Late Night shows.
