Wow, y'all definitely turned me away from the Catholic Church real quick 😂 The orthodox bros were just as bad. I'm just looking to be in a denomination that isn't insane, but I don't know if that's really a thing. Many protestant churches are just as nuts. I suppose when the whole culture turns to garbage, the churches aren't spared either. Welp, I'm still a Christian, but I find little in common with most others anymore.

Protestant brethren: what is to stop a Christian from seeing the historical disputes over canonical texts and concluding that Revelation shouldnt be canonical? Is it permissible to do so?

You then say ackchually it's something else that gets you eternal life. I then say "see?" You then pretend none of that happened.
