I also added some new notable films from @Kavanthekid, @Cont_animation, @Gossip_Goblin, and @Markoslavnic. If anyone notices any glaring omissions, let me know.

@cfryant That's funny. I found a similar issue recently with some other words (I can't remember now). We need a prompt enhancer that expands those troublesome words phonetically, like "Wahffles."

@altfortomorrow Very true. My daughter recently started collecting vinyl records and enjoys vintage shops now. It’s interesting that with so much power available on their devices, they seek simpler, tangible things.

@TomLikesRobots Great scene! Midjourney is definitely still at the top of my list for style exploration and creativity. There are still no better starting points.

For me, Midjourney is still in the lead for creative experimentation and exploring styles and characters. It combines so well with SeeDance 2 to bring ideas to life.

@henrydaubrez That makes sense. So it fits nicely into existing editing workflows.

You can stop comparing Omni and Seedance. They’re two very different models built for very different purposes. Omni, like the name suggests, is lightweight, efficient, and incredibly strong at video-to-video. That’s really where it shines, especially with physics, motion coherence, and its understanding of the real world. So while everyone is busy generating fight scenes to compare them directly, they’re kind of missing the point. Omni feels much closer to a “Nano Banana moment” for video than a traditional cinematic generation model. You’re comparing apples and pears. For example, I can easily ask Omni to change the entire setting of a sequence and turn day into night while preserving the shot structure. That’s a massive deal. Efficient v2v is probably going to become a huge part of the future of entertainment and hybrid productions.
