@ChrisCoffee This actually compliments OpenClaw. Claude doesn't have a permanent cron...

Claude finally killed the need for OpenClaw They launched "Claude Channels" which allows you to control Claude Code from your Telegram / Discord I show you how to set it up in ~6 minutes in mainly 3 steps Step 1: Create bot with BotFather Step 2: Install the Claude plugin Step 3: Pair with a code Now I can code, research, manage files from my phone using Claude Code If you don't watch this tutorial now I highly suggest you bookmark for later!

@IMJustinBrooke You have to think differently AND have a dedicated Claude Code session keeping it running 😁. Does seem to be getting more stable though.

Been using OpenClaw daily now. It’s not like other agentic builders or automation builders. You have to think a little differently when using it. Needs wiggle room. It’s like managing an overachiever. Huge energy and initiative, but needs rails. Lots of rails!

Claude Code Changelog
Claude Code Changelog@ClaudeCodeLog·
Claude Code 2.1.79 has been released. 18 CLI changes, 2 system prompt changes Highlights: • Memory exclusions now enforced even if saving requested; only non-obvious facts stored, reducing retention • Added --console flag to claude auth login to authenticate with Anthropic Console for API billing • Non-streaming API fallback uses a 2-minute per-attempt timeout to avoid sessions hanging indefinitely Complete details in thread ↓

Every time I watch an OpenClaw influencer video I go a little greyer. What are they doing that I'm not??? I will pay $10,000 in Bitcoin to observe @AlexFinn using OpenClaw for 1 day. BUT if he spends 50% of his time doing tech support, he owes me $5,000. What do you say Alex?

M2.5 was not a very good Main Orchestrator Agent for me. It did not like dispatching jobs to other agents and even lied about it. Hoping that is fixed in M2.7 because I liked M2.5 in general. Minimax coding plans are a great deal! Testing M2.7 today on @openclaw x.com/RichP/status/2…

@michpokrass Do you want to know one special way the 5.3 instant model could get *even better*?

we shipped a new version of 5.3 instant to chatgpt yesterday. 5.3 was unintentionally pretty annoyingly clickbait-y. it's better in yesterday's model and we're going to keep stamping that behavior out. keep the feedback coming! help.openai.com/en/articles/68…

You have to be kidding me. @ShopifySupport support cannot detach my partner account from a client store and is telling me the only way I can get Staff access is to use another email address. "This specific loop you are experiencing is officially classified on our end as a known system limitation. Because of this, there is no higher team we can escalate this to for a manual backend override or a quick fix." @Shopify this is completely unacceptable! I need access to Application Development and Staff user is the only way to do this(this is another issue!).

"The system is currently locking your main email address from being added back to this particular store as a staff member. Using an alternate email is the official workaround our developers have provided, and it is the only technical path available right now to get you immediate access to the App Development section so you can continue your work"

@Teknium @NousResearch @vercel Thinking of migrating from OC to get more stability, but hearing people on X complain about excessive token burn/usage. I have 8 agents on OC, does Hermes migrate them all? Thx!

i've been using @NousResearch Hermes Agent for about a week and my initial thoughts are it just works out of the box I find it's memory and learning to be far superior to OpenClaw without augmenting it with QMD or any additional memory systems it's early and my OC's handle A LOT more for @neukoai but im extremely encouraged so far

@gkisokay Loving Hermes so far. Set up was clunkier than OpenClaw but now everything is running smooth . Use their LLM, I don’t suggest using Claude Opus - it smoked $20 in credits within minutes!

As a non-technical builder, I'm looking for the cleanest agentic setups, and I hear Hermes is clean as they come. I ran Opus 4.6 to see what a migration from OpenClaw would look like, and these are the stats: - Cron jobs: 49 -> 17 - Agents: 5 -> 0 (skills + delegate tasks) - Node.js scripts: 32 -> 2 - QA agent scripts: 28 -> 0 - Skills: 4 -> 11 When switching to Hermes, bloat decreases by 65%. Why? - hermes built-in compression - manages browser sessions natively - native health monitoring - built-in cron delivery system and tracking - transitions workflows into skills - built-in multi-stage memory Over the weekend, my Claw became fairly messy by trying to build more agentic loops, so if Hermes can better streamline my agents, it's worth a shot. Let me know your experience with Hermes, and feel free to share any tips you may have.
JP@jpthor

Openclaw is bloatware now. Switched to Hermes. Very aesthetic and clean. You can migrate easily.
