@MattRitchie8 @yeah_i_saidthat @mce128 @Timcast If someone treated the woman in your life the way Trump treats woman you’d want him dead. But because it hasn’t affected you, it’s all good, who cares. It’s okay that he molests woman (including teens).

@MattRitchie8 @yeah_i_saidthat @mce128 @Timcast Biden walked in on teenage girls changing? Biden took money from charity to fund legal expenses? Biden cheated on three wives? Biden told a magazine that he can just “grab women by the pussy” because he’s famous?

@CathPrep1 @BlisterPearl Then the blue states jump in and subsidize the programs they rely on. Blue states should stop sending money to the federal government. Only then will people realize what they’re doing to themselves.

@CathPrep1 @BlisterPearl The only systemic issue they have is consistently uneducated voters that vote on hot topics, not what’s actually in their best interest. “Grr, trans people. I’m voting against them.” The result? Funding cuts to programs they need. Education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.

@mce128 @Timcast Why would he troll his own supporters? Clearly, this isn’t pointed at the left because no one on the left believes he’s actually religious. All this would do is rile up his own supporters who are true Christians and see this as blasphemy.

Goddamn it all people!!! Y'all are completely missing the point! Per usual for him he was just trolling... He always is trolling! Do not EVER forget that! After all, he is the patron saint of trollism. During the '16 election people were calling him meme-lord, and the meme master and other such combinations of meme and superlatives.

@AnarchoCapita11 @how2burnwater @drsmithy @DrDiGiorgio I’m in the US and I’m currently looking for a new primary care physician and I’ve called eight practices. The earliest I can get in for a new patient consultation is 18 months out. This idea that the US has no wait times is false.

@how2burnwater @drsmithy @DrDiGiorgio I am not American I am Swedish. So trust me I have experienced healthcare rationing first hand! Though I prefer the less regulated system of Singapore over the extremely government involved US system. At least you dont have 3 months to an appointment though

This is why we’ll never get “affordable healthcare” in America. Established, stable non-profit hospital offers $440,000 a year for a doctor and they act like it’s poverty wages. No one’s forcing them to accept but they hate the idea that’s a floor for their earnings.

@ChamoRochon @_Permanence_ @andyvsd @ContrarianSaver Apples to oranges, there are around 500 NBA players at any one time vs over a million doctors. The NBA is a much more prestigious group of talent compared to just being a doctor. Yes, both are high level, one’s just a more prestigious group than the other.

@ElizaGlass1972 @chriswithans @DrJJJavier The majority of Americans currently either take the Great Value brand or nothing. Thats not necessarily the fault of doctors but the system as a whole. All I’m saying is complaining about that level of pay, in today’s America, is a bit tone-deaf and won’t make you any new fans.

And look, you can putz around on your high horse all you want. But no interventional cardiologist is going to take that unless they are unhireable elsewhere for some reason, almost always a skill or outcome issue that is serious and unresolvable. They bounce around to temp jobs like these. You can take your chances with the Great Value brand cardiologist when your widow maker is 100% blocked, I wish you luck. Because you get what you pay for. 🤷‍♀️

@ElizaGlass1972 @chriswithans @DrJJJavier Lawyers are the measuring stick you want to use? One of the most hated professions in the world specifically because of their “money-hungry” perception? That does you no favors. Some of your patients are likely rationing medicine while you sit here tweeting that $400k is bad.

Every lawyer I have ever worked with charges in increments of 6-15 minutes. They don’t open an email or answer a phone call, ir sign a document without billing for that time. Law and medicine are both highly educated, trained fields (medicine far more so, even). Why should it be different? And let’s leave the much-abused “altruism” (code: for work-for-free gaslighting ) out if it, for a change. Why should it be different?

@ElizaGlass1972 @chriswithans @DrJJJavier Congrats, you just explained what it’s like to be a professional in the real world. You think these sorts of inconveniences don’t occur in other professions? It’s standard in many professions to have outside of hours communications that don’t get billed.

You obviously aren’t in healthcare. That cardiologist does not get paid for every hour he works. Medicine is not like law where you get to bill in increments of six minutes,on the honor system at that. The calls in the middle of the night? No reimbursement. On the phone with insurance for an hour? Free. If the doc does a procedure? Every visit follow up note and problem for the 90 day. After that procedure is free – it’s “included.” That’s just the name a few. I’d say about half of medicine goes uncompensated.

@CityBIue @albieamankona Wouldn't you say where the words come from is irrelevant atp considering their conditions? My argument is how can both have involuntary conditions and yet gets more pushback then the other. Bpd is a full emotional plunge he could easily say something he doesn't believe in

I went out to bat HARD for John Davidson after he shouted the N word at black actors and producers at the BAFTAs; against many in my own community. Davidson apologised, and his use of a racist slur was explained by his disability and I extended grace and forgiveness. So here is the uncomfortable question. Kanye West has bipolar disorder. He has said his antisemitic outbursts are linked to it. He has apologised, more than once. Yet the reaction is entirely different. Let me be clear. West’s antisemitism is vile. It is not edgy, it is not excusable, and it causes real harm. In the same way, a white person using the N word does. Both should be condemned without hesitation. But condemnation is not the same as consistency. If we are prepared to treat disability as a mitigating factor in one case, we cannot simply ignore it in another because the individual is more controversial or the offence feels less convenient to forgive. Either disability meaningfully shapes responsibility, or it does not. Either apologies carry weight, or they do not. If we only extend grace selectively, it stops being a principle and starts looking like preference.

Hi, welcome to the new Democratic Party. We're not voting for @GavinNewsom, ever. Please understand when I say we are now holding you Centrists hostage. If you nominate this soulless silverspoon failson, you will lose the election becuase we will not vote for him. You can nominate someone the people want, or you can lose. We know you'll choose the latter so we will prepare accordingly, we suggest you do the same.

@KamWilliamsFN @ChasinAssholes @Acespzr1 @K_ManAndy @dekker Stand on business. Follow the Old Testament. Make sure to throw out your cotton polyester blend T-shirts, and be sure to force the women in your life to cover themselves from neck to ankle. @KamWilliamsFN @ChasinAssholes @Acespzr1 @K_ManAndy @dekker Do you think all non-Christians haven’t read the Bible? Many have, they just see inconsistencies that invalidate a lot of it and choose not to believe. An example, you can’t claim the Bible is the word of God if humans have edited and changed it hundreds times.

This isn’t meant to come off as a knock to CE. I’m a Christian - and a basketball player. 90% of the NBA is openly Christian. What I find maddening in all this is Christians online twisting the story into “Ivey got waived because he is a Christian.” That’s just a false statement and you’re pushing drama even further. There are guys that proclaim their faith all over the NBA - it’s a shared faith. There are pre-game Chapel services in EVERY arena where guys come together to worship. There are post-game prayer communities that are visible to fans and cameras. This isn’t an intolerance issue by the NBA. Far from it. The league wants guys to proclaim what they believe. With that; You will be fired in ANY job where you become a workplace nightmare. If you continually disrupt the peace and happiness of your colleagues, you will be held accountable. It’s as simple as that.
