Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and
eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

I'm saddened that the Vatican stopped the canonization process for Servant of God Fr. Walter Ciszek. His book "He Leadeth Me" greatly influenced me early in my Catholic life, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
I consider Fr. Ciszek a Catholic hero and a saint.

When I worked in the first Trump admin, I used to brief Republican members of Congress all the time on immigration issues.
I vividly remember one Republican Senator telling me that America needs TPS because "they are the best workers we have."
This is the problem with allowing ethnic diasporas to capture the homeland and develop power over American politics.

I'm sad about Fr. Walter Ciszek's cause being halted. I think about him every day. I have an icon on my desk that's been in my possession since about 2001 that was once his. Knowing his story, I have a hard time imagining that he didn't live heroic virtue.
