@philipengberg @FinTesla There is a difference between being detached and actually seeing the big picture. Many of the important chess moves to win the war can look terrible if you are only looking 1-2 moves ahead… that being said I do sometimes think about the parallel reality where Model 2 exists 🙂🙃

With all due respect, I think you, like many others, are far too detached from reality with regards to normal people. Normal people know nothing of FSD, its capabilities and timelines. All they know is that 750 kr/mo is an insane amount of money for something they know nothing about and can’t even get right now. And as if that wasn’t enough, Tesla has removed the things they do understand, which is adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. These are no longer included, other than in an egregious monthly subscription. I know they have done this in other markets before us, but I still see it as insane. The only thing that can logically make them look somewhat sane at this point, would be a plethora of other options. Free trials, day/week subscriptions, pay-per-mile and so on. This is outrageous. And we, select few, who actually understand, are tech evangelists. Laggards don’t understand. And they represent the vast majority. I know this is a very unpopular opinion right now - my notifications are on fire - but I truly believe it is insane.

FSD one-time purchase is now gone in Europe. Only subscription remains... Why make the change now? Note. Autopilot remains for now.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Don’t think it’s possible to drive 2.5 million km in a single day - even in the worlds best car 😅

@DJSnM I might have missed it but did they say if they use the flight termination system or did they just let it smack the water

So, I guess without the boostback the booster must have continued down range and entered at higher speeds. I'm wondering if this contributed to landing burn failure, or if this was just doomed after the failed boostback?

@Tesla Belgium is now using three test vehicles on their roads to fulfill the test period to approve FSD asap. FSD Supervised might be approved so soon. This would then be the third country to approve it in Europe. The Netherlands first and after that Lithuania. Great work Tesla Belgium! @teslaeurope
Annick De Ridder@AnnickDeRidder

En nog een leuke update: Tesla heeft ondertussen drie wagens in gebruik om de testperiode zo vlot mogelijk af te werken!

@philipengberg @FinTesla Still a nice little thing to have as a backup in case you want to save money some months and not have FSD all months of the year, for those lucky bastards who already have it locked in :)

@philipengberg @FinTesla Why the surprise? This was obv. Going to happen like it did in other countries, for me the only surprise is that they did it before FSD approval, but we should be close enough that it does not matter much anyways. Autopilot is dead software and a liability. They want it out!

@philipengberg @FinTesla Not if you already have an order locked in - then Autopilot is part of what you paid for, as stated in the order agreement - or so I heard 🤫

@FinTesla You need to subscribe to FSD to get Autopilot. At least that’s what they write.

@Arpe_DK @wholemars Think it was already more or less confirmed to be around 40kWh… a car that cheap to build with such high utilization will result in insanely cheap price / km for the user

@wholemars My guess is just below 50kWh usable. I wonder how much the cabin reacts to heat and cold it is much smaller than a normal cabin.

@FSDEurope Det er smart - havde dog håbet lidt på at kunne prøve den gamle FSD pakke (selvom jeg ved den er meget begrænset) i en måned, men forhåbentlig er vi tæt på nu 😀

FSD in Denmark 🇩🇰
FSD is officially no longer available as a one-time purchase in Denmark 🇩🇰 Tesla just introduced the monthly FSD subscription instead for 750 DKK/month, while the old 58.300 DKK purchase option is now gone. Now we wait for EU approval 👀

@Arpe_DK @lesposen Our gigantic Odder Barbevogn fit in a Model 3. If the stroller does not fit in a Y, consider a smaller one, and please actually try it in the car! The measurements are useless compared with actually doing the thing🙂
