The irony of the Manipur violence…
First, they killed 79 people from the Kuki-Zo community, including women and children, in Imphal. The remaining population was driven away to the hills. They then looted 6,800 weapons to attack the hills. But when the Kuki defended themselves, they were branded as terrorists and arrests began.
