Must know things about the Hyderabad city police act! Hyderabadis! Do you know that it's an offence to clean any vehicle or groom any animal on the street or in a public place under the Hyderabad City Police Act enacted in 1938? There are many more rules like this in the act: Sending up a rocket or balloon near a street or public place can result in up to eight days in jail or a fifty rupee fine unless permitted by the commissioner of city police. Lighting a bonfire or burning trash or straw near a street or public place may result in a fine of up to fifty rupees, except when permitted by the commissioner of city police. Anyone who flies a kite in a way that may endanger, alarm, or injure any person, house, or property can be fined up to fifty rupees. Whoever, in any street or public place, begs alms or directs or permits children in their care to beg alms or exposes to the public an ulcer, wound, ailment, or physical deformity with the intent to receive alms or coerce any person to give alms, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month or with a fine which may extend to fifty rupees or with both. Inciting or urging a dog or other animal to attack, worry, or put fear into any person or animal shall result in a fine of up to fifty rupees. Using threatening, insulting, or obscene language or gestures in public places can lead to up to eight days in jail or a fine of up to fifty rupees. Letting loose any horse or other animal negligently, leading to danger or annoyance, or setting free a ferocious dog without a muzzle is considered an offence punishable by a fine, which may extend to fifty rupees. Anyone who intentionally and indecently exposes themselves in a street, public place, or any area visible from there can be jailed for up to eight days or fined up to fifty rupees. Anyone who intentionally gives or causes a false fire alarm to be given to a fire brigade or its officers or firefighters can be jailed for up to three months, fined up to one hundred rupees, or both. The Commissioner of City Police, Hyderabad, may issue notifications stating that any stray dog found wandering in streets or public places during specified times shall be destroyed. The Commissioner of City Police, Hyderabad, can mandate by a public notice that any dog found in a street or public place without a person leading it must wear a muzzle to prevent biting while ensuring it can eat and breathe comfortably. Police officers are permitted, for the duration of the notice, to destroy, take possession of, or detain any unmuzzled dogs discovered astray beyond their owner's premises. If you want to read the full act, it's available on the Hyderabad City Police website. And now, a question for you! Do you know who is Kotwal Balda? #Hyderabad

It’s really great that the CM of the state thinks about a small time food stall. The traffic police have to check the traffic situation and take necessary action. @revanth_anumula @TelanganaDGP @CYBTRAFFIC @HYDTP @CommissionrGHMC
