Hey mark, don’t you have like $35 million?
Why aren’t you using any of your money to help those kids instead of pocket watching others?
Mark Ruffalo@MarkRuffalo
Hello @ElonMusk. This is how you are perceived. Not too late to course correct but it’s getting pretty late. You certainly have the extra money on hand to really help the people of the world instead of the hellbent road of chaos and destruction you are ludicrously barreling down. Put down the Ket straw. 🤪

"Oh, my God. I'm talking to God!"
"Hey."
"This is nuts! It's unbelievable!"
"Yeah, yeah. Be not afraid and all that."
"It's just so—"
"Pop an Ativan if you gotta."
"I have so many questions!"
"Humans always do."
"Okay, first off, uuh, why me?"
"Why not?"
"Am I a prophet? This is like a vision, right, so there must be some divine message of galactic, celestial, incomprehensibly immense importance you want me to deliver to the world as your personally anointed messenger. Right?"
"Eh? Oh, no, no."
"No?"
"Nothing like that."
"Oh."
"I haven't done the prophet thing for centuries. A millennium, even."
"...oh."
"Not that that stops anybody."
"Um."
"And it's not like you people listen anyway."
"Okay, that's a little condescending."
"Really? 'Cause it's hard for me not to condescend considering I'm, ya know—"
"God."
"Mhm."
"No, I get it, it's just—"
"I'm literally descending into a lower plane of reality to have this conversation with you right now."
"And I appreciate that, my LORD."
"It's hard not to condescend when you descend for a conversation."
"And I appreciate that too."
"I could talk to you on my level, you know? Do you have any idea what would happen to your face if you heard my true voice?"
"Er, Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones?"
"Ark of the Covenant in Indiana Jones."
"I've never actually seen the film, but I caught an AI recap on YouTube."
"AI recap?"
"Uh huh. They redid the whole movie in five minutes with fruits and cartoon animals."
"Really."
"Major Arnold Ernest Toht was a dancing purple penguin wearing a totenkopf schirmmütze."
"Wonders never cease."
"They opened the box, and his cute little fascist beak melted clean off."
"Can't believe you haven't seen the original..."
"Gruesome stuff."
"Right, well, ILM VFX artist Chris Walas was in charge of the *original* face-melting effect, and I sent him nightmares for weeks just to make sure he got it right."
"That's, uh, very conscientious of you?"
"It was."
"So what I'm hearing right now *isn't* your true voice."
"Right. This is my false voice."
"That explains the falsetto."
"Mhm."
"I always expected the One Above All to have more vocal gravitas and sound less, uh, Bee Gees."
"You were expecting the bass."
"Right."
"You couldn't handle the bass, Ace. I'd bass your face clean off."
"At least I'm staying alive. So, uh, why?"
"Why everything? Well—"
"No, why are we having this conversation?"
"Hm?"
"If you don't have some divine revelation or a new gospel you want me to deliver to the world—"
"No, no. Pretty happy with the current one."
"—then why are we talking?"
"And honestly, if I did have a new gospel, I'd find someone with an established platform to distribute it."
"Established platform?"
"Like Joe Rogan. Or IShowSpeed."
"You'd pick IShowSpeed as your divine prophet?"
"Sure. Did you see the traps on his Black Flash cosplay?"
"..."
"Shit was crazy."
"..."
"Anyway, who says the First Mover has to have a reason for moving?"
"I guess that makes sense..."
"You humans are always so wrapped up in cause and effect, meaning, purpose."
"It would be nice to know."
"Truth told, I just love a good chat."
"You do?"
"Sure. Who doesn't?"
"There's like a thousand books and a bunch of movies grappling with the profound agony of your insufferable silence."
"Yeah, well—"
"Scorsese's Silence. A Serious Man by the Coen Brothers. The Seventh Seal."
"Yeah, well, you saw the kind of movies that guy made. Would you want to talk to Ingmar Bergman?"
"I suppose not. Coen Brothers seem cool though."
"I like Joel."
"So you just go around talking to people? For kicks?"
"Mhm. Like Bill Murray."
"Huh?"
"No one will ever believe you."
"I guess that's true."
"It's alright. Nobody ever believes in me either. That's kind of the problem."
"Well, you could just tell everyone you exist."
"And ruin the experiment?"
"Experiment?"
"Look, I'm God, right?"
"As far as I know."
"I'm omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. I know everything everywhere, and I always have and I always will."
"That's what they told me in Sunday school."
"But what if I don't?"
"Uh."
"What if there's something outside of everything? And I don't know about it?"
"With all due respect, LORD, that sounds a bit sacrilegious."
"It is, and I would send myself to hell for even thinking about it."
"Wow."
"But I can't because I'm God, so here I am thinking about it."
"This is heavy. I had no idea you grappled with this kind of stuff. Like us."
"Eh, apples and trees."
"So you think there might be, like, a Greater God?"
"I don't know. And that's why I created humans."
"Hm?"
"I wanted to see if you guys could figure out I exist without me completely revealing myself. Like rabbits raised in a terrarium with blacked-out windows."
"But you're talking—"
"Bill Murray."
"Oh. Right."
"I wanted to see if humanity, as a whole, could come to the correct conclusion that I exist purely by observing reality itself, which is obviously designed and constructed by a superior intelligence."
"Is it?"
"There's an enzyme embedded in the inner membrane of your mitochondria that literally looks like a spinning motor. What do you think, dingus?"
"Condescending again..."
"But it turns out you don't and you won't."
"Hm?"
"As education and intelligence rises, people turn into atheists. Or they become non-practicing agnostic whatevers. Like you."
"Sorry...?"
"You know what the problem with intelligence is?"
"Um."
"It's great for coming up with plausible explanations—a million Occam's razors for anything and everything."
"It is a handy heuristic."
"You know what's not a plausible explanation?"
"Er, that you exist?"
"That I exist."
"I suppose that's true. I'm also now remembering that I was in a car accident."
"See, here we go."
"Is this a coma?"
"Yes, you're in a coma. I have all my best conversations in comas, okay?"
"That would explain the endless white void."
"Some times I even give tours of paradise."
"So...you're probably not God."
"Well..."
"You're probably just a figment of my imagination."
"Who's to say?"
"I'm just talking to myself."
"Depending on who you ask, God is just the Collective Manifestation of the Universal Will, so talking to anyone, let alone God, is always—"
"—talking to myself."
"There you go. You're gonna wake up soon, by the way."
"Oh. That's good."
"They had to amputate."
"Oh. That's bad."
"Mhm."
"Was it my—"
"Not your willy."
"Thank God."
"You're welcome."
"Uh, well, thanks for the chat. I hope you figure out that whole Greater God thing."
"Yeah, not banking on it. I think the harsh truth is that he'd literally have to reveal himself like—"
"Hey."
"Oh, my God!"
"Oh, my God!"
"Fellas, please."
"It's God!"
"The Greater God!"
"Double G is fine."
"I can't believe this is happening! I have so many questions!"
"Easy, buddy. Us deities don't have Ativan."
"Tell me, please! What's out there?! Why reveal yourself now?!"
"And why do you look like Bill Murray?"
"Because I decided the time was right. And because no one will ever believe you."

Is there a ratfic yet where God is real, and he's like "dang, I'm pretty sure I'm the outermost god, but even though I feel omniscient I can't rule out there being a yet more powerful god watching me in my universe, ugh this is so disconcerting"?

@realniggano @GlenBlundeb5kz @PMBY89 @specialopsmag I mean I guess bro, al-sharaa was an extremist for sure but was killing our enemies too (after splintering from them i do admit). But whats the alternative? You want to stay and keep knocking off the top dog of an endless number of hajis that hate us?

English

The efficiency of killing in Tier 1.
In his book Unafraid, DEVGRU (Seal Team 6) operator Eddie Penney recalled a mission where he trimmed his kit to save weight, swapping out his HK416 for the lighter and more compact MP7.
It nearly cost him.
While on a mission, after putting multiple rounds into an enemy's body, the man didn't drop, and only a final shot through the eye put him down for good. Penney then made the decision to stop using the MP7. He went back to the HK416, a rifle he knew could end an engagement faster.
For Penney and his fellow operators at DEVGRU, the efficiency of killing eventually created a different kind of problem. When rifle kills became routine, some men began pushing the limits.
Operators started going for pistol shots and knife kills rather than using their primary weapon. They began looking for a harder challenge in the most dangerous environment on earth.
It didn’t take long before they realized that particular game wasn’t worth playing.

English

@discobaal @PMBY89 @specialopsmag My question has remained 'What do you actually want' this entire time man. Point being whatever solution you have this is going to happen when you train people to be ruthless mission oriented killers, some might end up being psychos who flew under the radar.
English

@RobMaybedumb @PMBY89 @specialopsmag First it was "so you want to eliminate the military?" now its "so you want to eliminate jsoc?" Honestly it sounds like you'd rather just argue with a libtard
I don't have any hope that the next president will voluntarily roll back executive power, its been happening for 150 years
English

@GloryHoleAbuser @discobaal @PMBY89 @specialopsmag Thats a cute dream, how about you go get 'em rounded up pussy.
English

@RobMaybedumb @discobaal @PMBY89 @specialopsmag What I actually want are show trials for these operator guys
English

@Liebz3 @PMBY89 @specialopsmag Im sure that hurt when she said that to you but it really has no effect here man.
English

@RobMaybedumb @jt0hny well i disagree and same goes for you... your assumption reveals more about you than you realise.
English

@RobMaybedumb @jt0hny So you're agreeing with the framing provided by the original post, implying that these women are "mid"?
English

@discobaal @PMBY89 @specialopsmag T1/jsoc are still "members of the military", no? Regardless, what would you do? Break jsoc up and have t1 ops handled with more layers of accountability? What is it yall actually want? Because then I bet it happens anyways, and then the same people will be up in arms.
English

@RobMaybedumb @PMBY89 @specialopsmag bro im not talking about the military in general i'm talking about the modern development of jsoc under bush initially and expanded into a de facto 7th branch under obama. either you are currently low-info about this specific topic or you're making up a strawman in order to "win"
English

@ballfragment @PMBY89 @specialopsmag You people dont even believe that, look around you man. Your compatriots won't be happy until we've completely neutered ourselves.
