@SahilBloom Just curious why you’re using Coros (performance) and Whoop (recovery) versus using a Garmin (performance + recovery) for both? Preference or purpose?

Oh, and for anyone questioning the 12 miler and lift, here are my receipts from this morning. Pre-run had 6 rice cakes with raw honey. Post-run (pre-lift) had another 8 rice cakes with raw honey and a scoop of pre-workout with creatine. The extra carbs and caffeine were needed.

@levelsio How do you effectively tackle problem of getting your brain to adjust to the new speed?

This week I decided to just permanently switch to running Claude Code on the server mostly on bypass permissions mode: c() { IS_SANDBOX=1 claude --dangerously-skip-permissions "$@"; } And for the first time in my life I think I've actually managed to outrun my todo list What happened is I simply blasted through my to do list of features I had to build and bugs I had to fix I've never shipped so fast and Claude Code almost made no mistakes, and when it did it they were tiny that weren't fatal (important because I'm mostly working on the server in production now) Before I was always known to ship fast (also because I always work alone) but while I shipped new things would always build up on my features/bug board (my users can submit them there) But this is the first week where I've been fast enough to outrun them The board is actually empty! As other people have written on here the real bottleneck is becoming myself and my creativity, not how fast I can ship. Because I think I ship faster now than I can come up with new ideas, or maybe my brain will adjust to this new speed (probably) Also I feel another limit is becoming my own mental context window, as in how many things, features, bugs, projects, I can keep in my mind in parallel while building on all of them. It's a lot and I haven't reached that limit yet but I feel I might be close I also noticed that you start going really fast the more you let it just go loose, before I was slow because I didn't trust it and I was scared it would destroy my code, now I just let it go. As @karpathy wrote, things feel like they've changed a lot around December last year when models became good enough to really code with and I feel the same When I see other friends code with Claude Code I often notice they're slow because they still check everything, which is good of course, but I feel the better way would be to create some tests and just let it run freely and see if it can pass those For me the tests are mostly just me checking out if the new feature on the site works or not, and in 99% cases it just does, and then I ask it to improve it further Because I run Claude Code on the server in production, I don't have to wait for deployment anymore (although that took only 3 seconds anyway before, that still adds up), now it's wait for it to be done coding, I refresh the site and I test it, that feedback loop is how I work and it's made me WAY faster Anyway here's what I did this week and the majority of these things were requested by people on the bug board, I'd say this is about 10x my normal output: 📸 Photo AI - Built new image viewer and mobile image viewer - Added batch remix, multi-photo import, filtering by model in gallery - Security overhaul: phased out insecure ?hash= login, migrated to session tokens - Fixed Google login loop, multi-model selection, talking scripts - Added custom audio upload for talking videos - Created dynamic model selector from server endpoint 🏡 Interior AI - Revived [ Add furniture ] feature (started 6 months ago, image models now good enough) - Added custom style upload for redesigns - Built own Gaussian Splat viewer for 3D - Made /remove_bg endpoint for furniture backgrounds - Migrated 3D walkthrough to new World Labs API - Added .skp file support, paint color masking, empty room button 🎒 Nomads - Launched weekly AI-generated newsletter from chat - Built profile edit modal, moved profile editing from /settings to profile page - Added TikTok/YouTube links, status bar, server-side API tracking - Added hundreds of new profile tags and traits - Fixed timezone filters, broken links, user avatars 🗺️ Hoodmaps - Revived write mode (before was only read for last few years because db was rekt) - Built heatmap mode using sentiment-scored tags (50K+ tags) - Fixed root cause: tags not entering DB due to wrong PRAGMA (should be WAL) - Added good/bad area detection with admin grid controls - Set up Claude Code Telegram bot for live changes - Enabled CF cache, fixed health check, fixed Brussels 📕 MAKE book - Built auto ePub/PDF generator cron worker - Added dynamic generation with personal customer watermarks - Added image compression for file size 💾 Pieter .com - Added Wikipedia text-only reader for Kindle - Exploring Windows 3.11 emulator using v86 (to replace Em-DOSBox) - Added product recommendations on homepage - Installed Wall Street Raider (1986) 👩‍💻 Remote OK - Installed Chatbase AI customer support bot - Added "report not remote" link on job posts 🏨 Hotelist (3 todos) - Fixed hotel URLs and city range bugs - Added iron amenity

So many tiny bugs on my sites like Nomads and Remote OK that I never got too because they were not worth to spend a day on to fix but still annoying enough to require a fix "one day" I now just ask Claude Code to fix in 1 minute Really turbo blasting through my todo Maybe I can finally outrun my todo list for the first time in my life (I know maybe by definition that's an illusion but still) What a great time to be a coder

I just had Claude Code build me a Facebook ad generator that can make 100+ on-brand ad variations in minutes for $0. And I made a full Notion document guide for you. It includes: 1. How to use Claude to find the pain points and desired outcomes of your ICP 2. How to use these pain points and outcomes to write ad copy variations 3. How to build a Facebook ad template entirely with code (just like the ones you see) 4. How focus Claude Code’s design so the ad feels “on-brand” 5. How to export the Facebook ads as PNGs in a zip file 6. How to bulk upload them to a Facebook ad set 7. How to use an AI data analyst to track the success of these ads Everything above is just API calls and Claude Code doing the work for you. You just come up with the ideas and polish the outputs. Like and comment "generator" and I'll send the Notion document to you

I've used Claude Code to build 20+ projects in the last 6 months. Thousands of new users across them. And I've never written a single line of code. I just dropped a 24-min video with my top 10 tips for non-developers — the exact playbook I use every day to run multiple AI agents that handle work that used to take me a full week. This is the best beginner guide to learning and building with Claude Code out right now. Every tutorial I found assumes you're a developer. This one doesn't. I cover everything from first install to running multi-agent workflows — with live demos and real examples for every single tip. How I set up new projects, how I got Claude to match my writing style, how I automate repeatable workflows with one command, and how I run multiple agents working on different tasks at the same time. I also built a full resource repo to go alongside the video — curated video tutorials, the best skill libraries, plugin directories, MCP server guides, written docs, community links, and a starter CLAUDE.md template you can copy-paste into your first project today. Comment "GUIDE" and I'll send you the full guide with everything you need to learn Claude Code! (make sure we're connected so I can DM you)

There's an opportunity right now to build a $100k per month side hustle as a Personal AI Tutor for executives and entrepreneurs. And you don't have to be *that* technical to do it. Here's how I'd think about it: There are probably tens of thousands of senior leaders and entrepreneurs who desperately need to learn and leverage the latest AI innovations but have no idea how to do that. They aren't going to be standard buyers of the latest AI course that some online guru is selling. Maybe they've bought the course, but they probably didn't watch it or they found the material mismatched with their needs. They have the disposable income to pay $5-10k per month for a few hours of time if it's truly building high leverage skills. Probably even something they could expense through their business as personal development... It's a real, high cash-flow opportunity for someone to launch a service business as a Personal AI Tutor for those people. Probably best if it can be in person, like a real tutor, but could do it remotely quite easily these days. 1-2 hours per week + 1-2 recorded video modules to continue to build skills between sessions. 5-10 clients per month and you have a meaningful cash flow engine. Generate leads on X with content catering to that audience and case studies. Could offer a free 30-minute kickoff session to prove value or do a monthly webinar walk through for free and upsell into the live tutoring. All comes down to the quality of what you deliver long term, but my guess is people would see a positive ROI right away and the referral engine would drive the business. Just a thought...

Two people who don't get enough credit for transforming careers of so many entrepreneurs and creators: @tferriss and @chrisguillebeau I've talked to hundreds of people who read 4HWW and changed what they thought was possible. Then Chris gave everyone a community, roadmap, and encouragement through WDS and his blog. I found Chris through Tim's blog. I still remember reading 279 Days to Overnight Success and seeing how Chris started earning a full-time living as a creator. His roadmap led me to earning $250k/yr on the same path. Did you read their work? I'd love to hear the impact it had on you.

This is one of my favorite charts at Buffer right now. It's the chart of our number of paying customers. And it might look like we've just experienced some awful churn, but that's not what it is. Those drops in number of paying customers are when we proactively cancelled subscriptions for some of our inactive customers. We sent them an email and let them know that unless they responded asking to keep their subscription or started using the product again, we would cancel their subscription at the next renewal. We made a decision recently as a company that it doesn't feel right to keep charging customers who are not actively using the product. While keeping these customers might pad our revenue a bit, I believe it will make us a more responsive business to proactively cancel those inactive subscriptions and rely on revenue from customers who are actually getting value from the product.

@joelgascoigne Honestly @joelgascoigne I believe there’s a generation of us that are going to look back at the way you built Buffer and realize that your greatest contribution to us has been the way & culture with which you built Buffer. That legacy will outlive you imo.

There are a few beliefs I've followed as I've built Buffer. One of them is that as I attain personal freedoms through the success of Buffer, I aim to extend those same freedoms to the team. Very early on, this was in the form of location independence. I wanted to travel the world and have new experiences as I built Buffer. I could have given myself this benefit without extending it to others, but that didn't feel right to me. So we became a fully remote company, all the way back in 2013. We've also always run Buffer with complete transparency for the team on how the company is doing, down to how much cash we have in the bank and our burn rate. I believe that if the team has all the information, we are always going to better equipped to weather challenges and take advantage of opportunities. Throughout the journey, I've also always encouraged and celebrated the team having side projects. The way I see it, a team with side projects is a win-win. Side projects can be a great vehicle for personal growth and experiences which can benefit Buffer too. Besides, Buffer started as a side project for me and I always have little projects I'm tinkering on, so it would feel at odds to disallow side projects. In more recent years, we've operated Buffer with a 4-day workweek. I'm proud to say that in the 5 years we've been working four days a week, we've seen Buffer through a turnaround from decline and back to growth, profitability and new all-time-high ARR working this schedule together as a team. I don't see the shorter workweek as a benefit and a way to work less on Buffer. Instead, I see 4-day workweeks as the way we can all work optimally on Buffer, as time away and true renewal enable us to make impactful, regular and sustained contributions. I believe that by extending the same freedoms to the team that you sought for yourself, you can build deep trust and unlock extraordinary commitment. During the times we've fully embraced this approach, we've felt our culture be strongest and experienced our most sustained results.

the funniest thing about this video is that i used to run from cameras i truly hated the idea of making content because i couldn't stand the idea of being cringe on the internet one day after a pretty tense 1:1 with @FarzaTV back at @_buildspace i realized how much i loved storytelling but more importantly how opinionated i was about it after a few weeks passed i woke up one day & decided that being cringe is being free and started to just fuck around & find out very glad I did that, i recommend more ppl try creating you can just do things.

Update: Biggest blessing I can think of! Liam’s open heart surgery went smoothly and successfully 🙏 Took 6 hours but modern medicine and science are absolutely magical Now he’s recovering steadily God is great! I’m beyond grateful for the surgeons and staff (miracle workers) of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) Thank you everyone for your positive vibes and love ❤️
KP@thisiskp_

An emotionally charged week I’m trying my best to stay strong and focus on positive emotions of gratitude, awe and love The recent roller coaster has been nothing like i’ve ever experienced in my life ICYMI: On Aug 8, we had two baby boys (twins) They were ~ 6 weeks early and had to be in special care in NICU Good news is my wife had an amazing recovery from her C section surgery and has joined me in making hospital visits to see the babies One of the babies (Theo) is perfectly healthy, came home successfully the other day and is growing steadily (pic on the left without cords) The other one (Liam) has been diagnosed with a rare genetic heart condition called HLHS — hypoplastic left heart syndrome The doctors say they will need to do an open heart surgery on him tomorrow called Norwood Sano He’s been a brave little boy already and has given us lots of hope and a strong mission to root for He’s currently in the cardiac ICU (pic on the right) and is getting ready for the big day I’m sure any parent can understand what a test of your belief in God and the Universe this is But I’m focusing on the blessing he’s already been to us, the spiritual awakening he has kindled in me already and how grateful I am to be his dad and to witness the next chapter Send your best vibes and love to our little lion cub: Liam 🙏❤️
