@kathrynhall_ I gained a lot of weight since autumn. Seems the higher my word count goes, the opposite happens to me step count. Combine that with the sh!t job our city does cleaning pavements/sidewalks on the winter, I don’t feel safe walking.

Morning Weekenders. Just seen an ad on IG for women wanting to lose weight. That's me, I thought, where do I sign. Presenter then asks a bloke how old his wife is... 56, comes the answer. "Oh great," says presenter, "You won't recognise her in 6 weeks." Now, why would a bloke be being interviewed about his wife wanting to lose weight and be quite excited at the thought of "not recognising her in 6 weeks"? Why would you not want to recognise your own wife? Come on, ladies, lose weight for yourself, because quite frankly, if you're losing weight so your husband won't recognise you, then maybe, just maybe, he ain't the man for you. So, this weekend, we're off to various destinations in Europe, first of all taking the overnight ferry on Sunday to Amsterdam. We'll drive through Germany, Northern Italy, Switzerland, France, and Belgium, and I've never been more ready for a holiday in my life 😊

@kathrynhall_ It’s an ongoing thing here trying to through to the unattached patient clinic. The mister needs a prescription filled ASAP and we’ve been left without a family doctor since last September.

We're back home and unpacked. I was going to put the decs up this afternoon, but I can't be bothered. I'll be on the phone at 8am tomorrow to the docs, no doubt waiting in a queue longer than Starmer's nose, and demanding an appointment. Wish me luck! 🤒🤬
