Robinson’s parents reportedly recognized him from surveillance, confronted him, and cooperated with authorities. Lance Twigs’ testimony supported that Robinson was not highly political, but that does not disprove the identification or evidence against him. 2. Video Evidence Claims Exact statements: “What we got instead was footage of unidentifiable brunette males…” “It could also be Lance Twigs… Timothy Shalamé…” “12.4 does not have any footage of Tyler Robinson actually taking a shot.” Tactics used: Moving the goalposts: Acknowledges it could be Robinson but shifts focus to impossible certainty.
