The Senate has only been in session about 40% of the time this year so far, and there is a lot more to get done. Hardworking Americans work 5 days a week, and the people who represent them should too. We should not leave here until we pass EVERY single piece of legislation that we need — especially the SAVE America Act.

Is there not a timeline like after six months to a year or three years to five years if you can’t speak English fluently and you haven’t completely assimilated leaving your country behind you should be deported. When I left CA almost a year ago due to threats to my safety (after exposing CHIRLA, VC Defensa, 805 Undocufund's role in anti-ICE violence), some questioned the need for me to leave the state.
At the time, I told people, "Gavin Newsom's court system will not protect me if I need to defend myself, AND, they might actively seek to imprison me for some BS 'crime.'"
Some friends and family scoffed at that. This video (in addition to the "Stop Nick Shirley Act") shows my concerns were well-founded.
